Reading through stubborn's thread on mood swings, got me started on this thread...

own up, who's wrecked parts of their Pc or Games console? you've just been killed too many times by that same guy online and you really want to let rip and get the anger out.

During a CS game this gimp kept creeping about sniping me, I couldn't take it any more and my fist went up in the air whilst shouting profanities at the tft, then came crashing down on top of my mouse.... It was no more.

Two of the buttons went flyinging the side buttons were sticking out the wrong way and the mosue wheel was pushed so far into the mouse it wrecked the circuit board inside. I still have the mouse to remind me of my stupid ways with anger management of the past.

I snapped a sega megadrive c-pad over my knee once.

Anger managment dude..... could be a winner for you.

I was 12...and it was mortal kombat 2...easy anger.

Damn I used to love those games. I was a total bad motherfucker with Sub Zero ripping lesser opponents heads off n' shit :D

Speedball 2 was mean aswell.

I liked ECCO & Flashback...streets of rage....16bit rocked it.
But mk2 (especially 2) kicked my ass. Raiden = Bastard God.

Streets of Rage killed! Never played Flashback or ECCO. Raiden was awesome loved the lightening to head shit. MK was better on the PC when it came out I thought.

Fuck its been ages since I've played games.

ooooooooh..the amount of keyboards i have smashed.
the amount of mouses i have thrown at walls.
the language..!!deafening.
I kept getting killed in tribes cos i kept lagging like a mutha.
not anymore though..but i hear you brutha!!

note: never play games on 56k :o

Have busted up any keyboards yet..Tho we got a fucking annoying controller for our old school games that has something small broken in it so when you move the blood thing it like jingles almost. I should rip the cord out when I get home.

I have a box of controllers that haven't been able to stand up to some gaming induced over-exuberance. None were actually killed in rage, more from being flexed past there limits, looking for those extra degrees of movement.

But it still amazes me how strong the Super Nintendo controllers were. How many times they got flung to the ground at the end of a game of Street Fighter II or MK2.

I am planning on building a MAME cabinet - most important thing is heavy reinforcement in the lower front section of the cabinet. Repeated kicking demands it.

I got really pissed at HL2 DM earlier. I hadnt plaayed in aorund a year, so i was getting my ass kicked. Parents heard me screaming profanities.

also, what's a sega mega drive? never heard of it... did it come out before the sega genesis?
