loved it. can't stop recommending it to people. especially little republican kids who piss their pants when they see bigbird. actually i haven't had the chance to reccomend anything to them, but i would!

GetrDone 11-09-2006 10:30 PM

I thought it was very good. I loved the intros.

It is better than most monster movies but the end completely sucked in my opinion. Than again most horror movie endings do suck so its nothing new. It was much better than I thought, I gotta give it some props.

???
From the way I vote, for the most part, people would label me a republican. I loved Feast. Ah well, stereotypes are an easy thing to use aren't they?

Anyway, Feast was good and I loved the little intro clips for each character, didn't take itself too seriously. I hope Gulagher (sp) does some more work in the genre.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Feast was okay.. at best. The comedy wasn't that great. The writing was unoriginal. The acting... wow painful (Besides Henry Rollins). All the girls casted, came out of b-level porn acting.

Since it's comedy-horror movie. It should do one or the other semi-good. And it did neither. The movie was so predictable, c'mon.

Watch Evil dead, Dead & Breakfest, 2001 Manics, Bad taste, Cabin Fever for good Comedy-Horror. Feast doesn't make the list.

I really didn't care for it much

I'm all for Cabin Fever, it's an alright flick as well but I had a lot more fun watching Feast.

I liked it. The first 30 minutes were excellent, but on the whole, it was a pretty good film. LOVED the first half hour or so though. When that Ash like character showed up and gets the 'Hero' intro and he's just all about "kicking ass"... Hahahaha! Brilliant. He says something like "Call the National Guard, the army, the cops... Hell, call the local high school football team if they can kick some ass!" I thought that character was just hilarious.

And then:

Bartender: "Who the fuck are you"

Hero: "I´m the guy who´s gonna save your ass"...

And then goodbye. :p

i watched most of this last night .. probably 20 - 30 min to go.

my impressions so far :

kick ass beginning ... both the intentionally misleading character intros and the hyper violence were a hoot ...

unfortunately it wasnt possible to keep up that frantic pace and the film slows down considerably in the middle.
I'll have to find out if it picks back up in the end tonight ..

Spec7ral 12-14-2006 01:30 PM

henry rollins in pink jogging pants cannot be deemed as "slow" as far as the pace of a movie is concerned, at least not in my books.

urgeok 12-14-2006 06:21 PM

finished the movie ..

liked it a lot ..

trx1 12-18-2006 05:55 AM

kung-fu-jesus 12-18-2006 06:51 AM

after waiting almost a year and half, i was not dissapointed( thank god). me and a couple of guys sat down awhile back and laughed our ass's off. the film was fucking great, i highly recommend a group screening.

also wtf, hollywood video dosnt carry the film.

Cadaver 12-19-2006 04:04 PM

I thought it was good. I went into it thinking I wasn't going to like it, but it was a fun ride all the way

illdojo 12-21-2006 12:16 PM

I finally rented it last night. I thought it was great. I agree with everyone that Rollins was killer. Without him it might not have been as cool, but I'm just a 32 year old punk rocker. WTF do I know? :D I do know that Krista Allen is fucking SMOKIN........

Spec7ral 12-22-2006 01:54 AM

a sequel would be awesome if the same director gets his hands on it with at least triple the budget (prolly would get alot more but i was down with the low budget feel of it) the reason the monsters were around was to do with army testing ie the monsters escaped or they let them loose on the people kinda idea, that bit just got cut from the end movie

They don't need a bigger budget, they need to spen the money better. If they simply made the movie anywhere else with the same budget it would have been bigger. Watching those people try to make a low-budget is maddening.

They only really know how to make big budget films. They could have saved a ton, but instead shot the film in Hollywood and blew a ton of cash. $3.2 million for that? I liked the film, but its "low budget" look is what I disliked most about it. Several shots looked cheap.

My flick shoots next month for $1.5 Million and I promise you the production value will be higher than Feast.
