Did you Vote ?
http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...aniac/vote.jpg
I was just wondering how many of you cast your vote ? Do you vote every election day or what ? I have only voted twice, the presidental election in 04' and now at the mid-term. I think I am going to start every election though, I am 21 but I like politics for some reason, even though most of the candidates are hypocritical, and brainless. I think it is time (has been time) for someone who actually knows what the people want and ACTUALLY deliver it to us. I think for the 08' President Election I would like to see RUDOLPH W. GIULIANI, or BARACK OBAMA would me a good president, I am aiming toward BARACK I think he would make an outstanding president and if he did run he has to his advantage the "race" he is about 12 different races :D I didn't think there was already a voting thread so if there is I am sorry, please don't get on me. |
I voted!
I vote every election without fail. And for those of you who think that politicians suck and are all liars and why bother? THERE'S MORE ON A BALLOT THAN PEOPLE'S NAMES!!!!! It's the propsitions and ballot initiatives that will have the most impact on you, not the specific politicians. Read the ballot measures and VOTE!!!! And if you're in CA YES on 87! |
I will....after work.
|
vote me off you bastards !!!

I'm only 17 and 1/2, but I can not wait until I can vote. None of the 18 year olds I know are voting and it makes me so mad!
|
This is the first time I haven't voted in a long time. I didn't register because I'm moving in February and will be registering again in Seattle as soon as I get back.
|
It's called "vote apathy".
It happens in the UK as well. Why vote for someone when you know they'll screw the country just as bad. It's time for new blood, rather than vote for oldies. Just because the majority of candidates are old (ie over 50) doesn't make you any wiser - Bush for example. I saw some of the carrying on yesterday with the mid-term vote - maybe you should vote a kid in a school play ground, at least they act their age. |
I voted this afternoon. Just trying to do my part to get those pesky Republicans out of office.

-Looks Around- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH.....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa!!!!!
Sorry, but there are a few things that are going to make me say "no, I didn't vote and I don't". 1. I'm not old enough. 2. We don't decide who the President is or who any of the people who get into office are. The Electorial College decides, so basically, it is a pure waste of time that I could be doing something more productive with my life. I'm sorry, but it holds no interest for me. Not to mention that I'm neither a Democrat or Republican. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! |
I didnīt vote... Fuck them all. Fuck them all to HELL!!!

Ballot measures are where YOU (when you're old enough) can affect the world in which you live. |
what he said !

I voted for the Libertarian candidate, just like I do in every election. I know, I pretty much throw my vote away. In my state gubernatorial election, it really doesn't matter who I vote for. The Republican is most definitely going to win every single time.
|
The libertarians have a few good ideas, but few people know who they are and they have a lot of kooks among them.
If I were them I'd throw everything into electing a representative in one of those Western states, maybe Nevada. |
I voted. Not overly enthusiastic about any of the assholes I voted for, but if you don't vote then you have absolutely zero right to bitch about the outcome (or politics in general for that matter.) The only vote I cast happily was against our current Governor, Tim Pawlenty. Fuck that guy. I woulda voted for a turd sandwich over him. Notice, I wasn't overly thrilled to be voting for Mike Hatch, but I was thrilled to go against Pawlenty.
