Anybody play this yet? I'm waiting for it, just saw the commercial with the song "Mad World" used... amazing. Anybody have a review?

I saw some screens for it.It looks awesome.

I can't get the song out of my head after seeing the commercial for the first time a week ago.

I can't to get my hands on this game.I've wanted to play this since I heard about it almost a year ago.

Looks kind of like Brute Force to me....You know, the game critics trashed. I kind of enjoyed the game. But hopefully Gears of War will live up to what it's supposed to be.

just saw the commercial again. I never really paid attention to the game because of that damn song stuck in my head, but the game looks really nice. the graphics look killer. all the more reason for me to get a 360

There was a trailer on over here yesterday : Emergence Day, 17.11.06. Thought mmm a new film, then i discovered it was this. Don't have an Xbox 360, just a plain ol' PS2, so unless it comes out on this doubt I'll ever play it, same as dead rising.

I've been waiting to play GOW for almost a year now.I hope it lives up to exspectation.

Well I've played this game for a few hours now and it was everything I hoped it would be.Amazing graphics, awesome gameplay and just flat out fun.If you haven't played this yet you should run out and get it now.

I picked it up yesturday and have already been through the single player campaign once.Great graphics,gameplay,and lets not forget the chainsaw.

The single player is awesome but it's even better online.

Yes it is a very intense insane game.... just what everyone wants out of a game. I love Marcus..... he is a cool war hero. I can almost imagine being there. People can real get into the action and graphics of the game.... outstanding. :eek:

Its amazing. The controld are stunning too. I just rented it at my uncles house in fla for a few days, but it was stunning.

The same as here, but I'm not online with the 360 because I hate wireless and my dog chewed up another cat5 cable. Damn dog...

Ya I feel you. My dog chewed up my headset and completely destroyed my controller. I came home and saw them both sitting there destroyed, oh was I pissed. Wireless controllers are a shit load of money.

Doesn't hurt that Marcus is voiced by Bender, er I mean John Di Maggio.





Ouch, cables are cheap but controllers and headsets are not.

Anyone else notice that the 360 gets kind of loud with gears of war? Or is something wrong with my game? There aren't any scratches on it or anything. :confused:

Kickass game. I played it for about 5 hours straight.

Is it a constant sound or does it just last a few seconds at a time?My 360 makes these louds sounds some times but only when it's reading something.As long as you don't have any problems with your console I'd say it's nothing to worry about .

It's loud because GEARS OF WAR FUCKIN' ROCKS!!

The in game play is descent but the on-line play is what I really like about the game.Pimp slappin and ride blingin are some of the best on-line mode's I've played in awhile.I'd say give it a rent before you buy it and see if it's for you.
