Ugh ugh ugh. This was the worst part of my whole Saw III experience. This horrible trailer playing in front of it. Thank God that the trailer for 300 more than made up for it. I have no idea why they decided to make a sequel to this, I really don't think I can give them a second chance to get it right after the first one.

The only way I'd even consider Hostel II was if Eli Roth was not involved in it. I gave him a second chance after Cabin Fever - he won't get a third.

I have'nt seen Hostle yet.I don't plan on watching it either,it looks stupid.

I hated Cabin Fever with every fiber of my being. Dumbest movie I have ever seen. Hostel wasn't that bad. I actually enjoyed it, Eli said that he got the idea from a website his friend showed him where in Thailand you can go into a room and for 10,000 bucks shoot a person in the head. Pretty sick that there are places like this.

I wouldn't mind seeing Hostel II in theaters, horror movies are always best on the big screen.

Hostel was a great story, poorly executed. I'd like to see the second, but I'll wait until it hits DVD, at which time I will rent it for $2 from my corner store and probably not like it any more than I did the first.

I didn't HATE the first one. It's just when you run about tauting it as the most horrific, gruesome movie in over 20yrs and then fail to deliver, it leaves a bad taste. More torture would have been nice.

As far as 2 goes, I'll watch it eventually, like I do all things. The trailer really didn't show me too much of anything. I thought it was supposed to take up directly after the first one with Paxton?

I wish I had been that smart. Not only was it stupid, but I can't think of any other film I've seen that failed to live up to its hype by that much.

I Cannot wait for hostel 2 to come out. The Teaser trailer for it looked so bad ass. This guy was talking in German and he said Americans have no imagination. As soon as he said that they should this huge wall full of different insturments and tools and all you can hear is someone screaming. I CANT WAIT:)

Yeah, I was surprised by the first one...got it on PPV one night because I was bored and while I didn't think it was the best movie I'd ever seen, I did love the story! :D

wow this is rare a bunch of hostel lovers in one thread. Hostel was barely passable, and only because of the last parts of the film. all in all i dont think it deserves a sequel.

I feel the porn just took away from the plot of the movie and cheapened it. It's hard for me to really take a movie seriously when all you see is naked women bouncing around for no apparent reason.

The Porn was the only thing I did like about Hostel, and I'm not a big fan of lots of sex in films...not to offend but I hated this one. Hoping #2 is better.

How about gratuitous nudity? It's NOT porn. Not even softcore. Compare it to a Joe D'Amato flick. You'll see the difference.

Hostel seems to be the film to hate right now. I didn't hate it, I just found it extremely underwhelming. I'm going to give it another watch soon since it's been awhile.

Same here. Didn't like it and was bored to death. I wouldn't call it porn though, I actually didn't think much of it....I just thought it added to the awfulness of the movie

I will most likely go see it. One of my young cousins is a big horror fan, and I take her to the movies often. This film is high on her must see list.

The first one sucked, but I am willing to keep an open mind on this one. The sequel cant possibly be any worse than the first(can it?). But there are alot more horror movies coming out in 2007, so this one isn't close to being on my list of most anticipated.

No. I gave Roth a second chance after Cabin Fever by seeing Hostel. I see no reason to give him a third chance after those two films.

Why do so many people hate on this movie, it really bugs me. I'll admit it was nowhere near as gory as I thought it was going to be and it could have done without all the porn but it is still a great movie and I am really looking forward to Hostel 2.

Cabin Fever and Hostel had the same effect on me. I loved them the first time, so I bought the DVD's and on each viewing they get more and more boring. Hostel didn't have enough gore, but it was truly quality, not quantity. I'll definitely be seeing Hostel 2 in theaters, if only for the new gore.
