There a lot of great characters with names which now seem so suited to who they are within the walls of HDC, I'm just curious where your names originated from, where they child hood taunts, fake id's you bought as teenagers, or stage names or........?

Mine came from one band I started which lasted 3 jams, Disease and the room of defeated retards, I was Disease, so what about you?

The origins of "tic":

Official version.
Comes from the word psychotic, lunatic, etc.
It also was the nick-name of a character I created in a book I was writing, based on the above.

Other extremably dubious version tic is short for "the ticster" a name which I used for a website, just hadn't the time to complete it /put it on line.

most people assume its either my personality or iq - but truth be told, its a nickname from high school. i was a running back in high school football and our coach would always read the stats from each game at our next practice. well, after a game where i hadn't played due to illness he still read out in front of everyone "RAY - ZERO CARRIES FOR ZERO YARDS" - everyone laughed and it stuck. zero!

Used it as a name for something where Despair couldn't be used because of an issue with a location or something. Started using it on IRC and it just stuck.
