I rented Slither last night.....Not expecting much, but this DVD is fucking SWEET.
Lot's of gore and laughs. It is cheesy, but I think you all know that... It's a lot like "Night of the Creeps"

I thought the second half of the movie saved it. But i must admit that i had kinda high expectations to "Slither" and i felt a little disappointed. Thought it would be one of the best 2006 releases.

Wait a minute..... It might be afterall.

From what you said it sounds ok though so might change my mind on this one.

I loved it, it was hilarious, just my kind of humour :cool: :D

great movie .. everything a fun horror should be..

I don't think I'll mess with this one. Other than the Evil Dead trilogy, I don't care for comedy in horror.

I thought it was awfull, i really hated it.

Fantastic. Fun. End of story.

Cheesy entertainment. Its great to watch with friends on a weekend.

About being the best in 2006...I d reserve my opinion. The year isnt over yet...

that's why i loved slither, cause it's basically a modern night of the creeps! another classic horror/comedy! except that the ending of night of the creeps is really cool and creepy, but they never did anythign with it.

that giant spaceship over the graveyard...:eek:

I must agree with Crimson Ghost on this one. It was one of the most boring, terribly over hyped horror movies I've ever seen. And I am a fan of cheesy horror as well as the real thing and this was just boring.

I absolutely loved this film. Great fun! Supremely dark and funny.

hard to believe any horror fan not liking it - but oh well..

I can appreciate that, but for me it's flipped - I liked Feast, it was fun and silly and gorey, but I found SLither to be more profoundly dark,

Slither is one those movies that you love to love. Too much good stuff. Too much fun.

Sounds good I might pick it up.Does it have alot of special features?

Didn't think it was the best movie around but definatly had its moments..Rather funny in parts and yeah..alotta cheesyness happening. But I think it woudld fit right in with the dvds I got.

i actually felt this movie had alot going for it....till the scene in the cornfields and on....i saw it in the theatre....which was over 6 months ago....but it totally reminded me of the BORROWER....not sure if anybody remembers the borrower.

I enjoyed this movie alot. Friends of mine saw it at Fangoriafest in Chicago, and recomened it. I enjoyed it. I also like the char that Nathan Fillion provides alot like his Firefly char.

i havent had the pleasure of seeing it yet, but i also have high expectations of it... i hope it doesnt let me down

Ah cool. I was wanting to see this and I'm happy to hear it got good reviews.

Nathan Fillion was great in this movie. Loved him in Firefly and he was pretty much the same character. It was like seeing an old friend.

hollywood-wise maybe, but 06's underground horror had a damn lot of good stuff coming out.

anyways, i liked this movie. Rooker is great as always.

i liked slither, it was pretty funny, especially when the main monster
would call his wifes name all of them would call her name too:D
