i wish i was around the time the sex pistols n the clash n them sort of bands were around coz i would have luved 2 have seen them live.
what about anyone else? |
I wish the Melvins would come back here cuz I missed them.... same deal with Dead Moon, Sonic Youth and Fugazi.
I would've like to have seen Blue Cheer, Black Sabbath, MC5, Rocket From The Tombs, Velvet Underground when they were in their prime, not reunion tours. ....there's heaps of bands I wanna see! :D |
I would have like to have seen Pantera and Alice in Chains live.
|
Led Zeppelin would be at the top of my list.
The Melvins were cool live, BTW. I got to see them once in Seattle when they opened for Soundgarden. Great show. |
Oh, there's quite a lot, and I don't even like concerts all that much.
Skinny Puppy (with Dwayne Goettel) Gabriel-era Genesis Barrett/Waters era Pink Floyd The Clash The Germs The Velvet Underground Big Black The Swans |
Wished I would have been able to see Pink Floyd.

The Beatles, Nirvana, Sublime, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Rage Against the Machine
Pantera was fuckin' awesome. |
not big on concerts anymore, but if these bands toured and came here, I'd go see them:
Faith No More Pink Floyd Modest Mouse Animal Collective but for the most part, I doubt I'll go to another concert |
Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
MC5 Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys The Replacements Buddy Holly and the Crickets - and Elvis Christ, I grew up in DC and have seen Fugazi at least two dozen times...and always free! also saw Bad Brains, Gray Matter, Scream, Lungfish and Nation of Ulysses on a regular basis! |
The Beatles
Joy Division At the Drive-In ect. |

I was really into them (Rage Against the Machine) when their first album came out and up through Evil Empire. Then they kinda lost me afer that but the reason I really wish I could have seen them is because I should have been able to see them back when I was uber-into them. They toured with Wu-Tang Clan and me & about 5 of my friends had tickets to it. Long story made short... All 5 of my friends were going because they were fans of Wu-Tang, who canceled the night of the show, and all of my friends (and my ride to the show) decided to get their refunds. I didn't have my drivers license yet so I couldn't go on my own. Rage didn't ever get back to MN before they broke up so that has always irked me.
*shrug* I did see Wu-Tang Clan since them though. ODB was in jail, but everyone else was there. |
i gotta go with the beatles, kiss, led zep, ac/dc....jeff buckley....neil young....and erm the band....ill think of more
|
I wish I saw Big Black, I have both the cd and video of "pig pile" which is a live album, it is the most brutal industrial shit, trent reznor stole from them, and i saw him, You fucking rapist trent!
|

I also wish I had seen a gig at the astor in i think 1980, with the Birthday party and the go-betweens, I obviously was to young to see the birthday party, but the Go-betweens reformed in the late 90's and released some great albums, i couldn't afford to go to there shows last year and when i went to a grant mclennan solo show i missed him because he played second instead of last like was advertised. Then he died of a heartattack around may this year, for those who don't know he was one of the two songwriters of the go-betweens, so now i'll never see them or him.
R.I.P Grant Mclennan |
Pantera definetly
|
Misfits(with Glenn), Clash, Bob Marley,Zepplin, Hendrix, Sublime,The Doors, Blind Melon.
I see some people have never seen Alice In Chains. I've seen them 2 times(with Layne). Now Cantrell and the the band are on tour with a new singer....and coming to Omaha..... and they are charging.... $45  ....WTF.... I don't think I will be going. |

Slayer. I first bought the "Show No Mercy" album (remember those?) back in 1983-84 and I have NEVER seen them live to this day. Damn!
I saw Pink Floyd in '94, and it was a life-changing experience! I also would have liked to have seen Elvis. |
