Texas Chainsaw Massacre-The Beginning

I thought it was pretty good. Exceeded my expectations. Way better then the stupid remake of the original. Pretty gorey, on the edge of your seat!

I want to see this. I was going to take my girlfriend yesterday, but since she isn't 17, I couldn't get her in. :(

Are you old enough?

Maybe the rules are different down there, but here so long as one person is of age, anyone they're with can get in.

Yeah, I'm 17. But so far here, they've asked for ID on both.

Thats retarded.

So, lets say I was 16 and wanted to go see a movie with my dad. They wouldnt let me in?

Argue with them, cause that's not the way the system works. Or, just give some random guy in the lobby some money, and ask him to buy it for you.

No, they would let you in, because your dad is your "Legal Guardian". USA laws and regulations are retarded.

They would have no way of knowing that. Just offer some older looking guy standing around in the lobby a couple bucks to pose as your "Legal Guardian". Problem solved.

Even better, you could just buy her ticket problem solved.

I do it with friends and concession all the time.

TO me, this movie was worthy of seeing in the theatre and I hate going to the theatre. If you all want to see this movie catch it now don't wait for DVD.
VC- That sucks you and your GF couldn't get in. It's funny you mention because my BF and I felt like the oldest ones in the theatre, it was alllllllllll teenagers!

Sick_As_Fuck 10-08-2006 01:57 PM

I believe the law is you can only get into a rated R movie with someone over the age of 25.

Anyway...I saw this last night and it was fantastic. Nice kills, good amount of gore, some "make you jump" moments, and Sheriff Hoyt [bad guy one] was funny as fuck. This is easily the best theatrically released horror film I've seen in years. An instant classic.
