i prefer jason but its hard to choose between jason vorhees and michael myers!!

I prefer Leatherface, that simple no method to his madness barbaric rage is most excellent. The others simply kill their prey, granted they do a great job at it, but Leatherface goes to the next level with wearing their flesh and eating them. Then makes crafts like windchimes and such out of their bones.

If he owned a few sweatshops and was into insider trading I'd swear it was Martha Stewart in drag.

I chose Freddy because the other jokers are physical men that can only attack you when your in close proximity. Freddy, on the other hand, violates the most personal and deepest areas, not to mention that he doesn't really have a range.

Neither Jason or Micheal is very cunning and clever. They're sort of zombies with child's mind. Basic things are workable, but that's it. Freddy is scheming, very adult, and totally aware of what he's doing. He's the worst kind of "ghost" (and I say ghost, because he doesn't really manifest himself in the physical unless he's forced to.

....I honestly just had a nightmare last night, so that maybe fueling this exposition. :p

i like michael myers because i babysit this little kid and he's so scared micheal is gonna come after him! so whenever he doesnt listen or misbehaves i knock on the door and tell him to go answer itr and say i think its michael myers! and he freaks out! bad part is he's only 2 yrs old! but he listens after wards!

nah, just fuckin with ya...try this one,
buy the myers mask, hide it in your room while babysitting, watch the bloodiest halloween movie u can find (the gore usually shit-scares the lil ones), the after the movie, "dissapear" for like, half an hour, grab a big knife, put a few pillows together in your room, making a "body" shape in a trash bag, smear some "blood" on the blade of the knife (be creative) and just wait (behind an open door or something,) til he comes looking for you, take a photo of his face when he's seen your "dead body, then turns to see "michael" waiting for him.....and advance on him, slowly....and menacingly...heh-heh...

thats kinda cruel but there is no way in hell my nieces would fall for it. they r 10 and 7 theres no way they would fall for it they r to smart for that. but it could b a good prank to play on some one like a significant other or a parent

my pick would have to be freddy. he uses there dreams to get to them and doesn't come out unless pulled out of the dreams. i like the others as well but i will say freddy on this one

I'm sorry.....no I'm not..... without Michael Myers, there would be no others!!!!! Come on people....you gotta give respect!! (well you don't have to), but for Satan's sake.... he was the original!!! (you know what i mean) He is by far, the scariest stalker of all! After all, think about it....... does anyone really know why Michael kills? (besides J.Carpenter) We all know the story behind Jason and Freddy and Leatherface......but who 'truly' knows the "Real" story behind Michael?! That's why he is still the best and will remain the best....... everything else is only an attempt to duplicate the original..... and best selling horror movie of it's time! Even if you bought into the whole "druid" idea of his explanation.... true horror fans should still be demanding more!!! Unfortunately, it doesn't help us true fans, when they keep changing the actor who portrays 'the Shape'. That i'll give... to the rest of you who can't keep the faith. But I wish..... no I hope.... that in my future days of animation and filmmaking that I can bring back to the world what Michael started, and finish it with an ending that would leave this whole world breathless. (and i mean a movie..... not an actual killing spree......i know how you think) I think that instead of George Lucas remaking star wars and all, Carpenter should remake Halloween!!! Especially that piece of shit that was labeled Halloween 3: Season of the Witch! i would have to say the scariest out of the 4 is mike.

jason terrorized crystal lake area and he hasn't ran after his prey since part 3. he's not too bright either so it's easy to outsmart him.

as for freddy, he only works in the dreams. u are supposed to control your own dreams as in the DREAM WARRIORS. and if all else fails, pull him out and kill him like in pt 6. he's mortal outside of the dream world. and that's why i didn't understand JASON VS. FREDDY.

i thinking that TCM came out a good 5 years before halloween did, so technically leatherface is the original. any TRUE horror fan as you so put it would know that.

well, actually if we're being technical wes craven's last house on the left sort set the tone for most slasher movies considering that it used the chainsaw first, i believe but i will research this to make sure that i'm giving accurate info....
