Creative Kill
What movie do you guys think had the most creative kill? Doesnt have to be gruesome to count.
|
Probably the death of Kirsty's dad (really Frank) in Hellraiser. I had not seen anything like that at the time.
"Jesus wept." |
serialmom definatley, she wacked that guy with a god damn pot roast! how can you top that?

That was pretty damn good actually, one of the main reasons Ive enjoyed the Hellraiser movies. If the kill isnt too creative, you can bet you will find at least one good torture scene before its through. |

never seen that one, but if it can compete with death by a potroast im up for a view

The Cube...
When the guy got diced into 3 inch cubes with razor wire and then slowly fell apart...I had not seen anything like that up to that point...It is my favorite part of that movie...Had to watch it over and over again in slow motion...sweet:D |

Serial Mom had some really great funny scenes. Gotta love John Waters! Cube was great too. Suspiria had some really original scenes. The girl falling into the room full of razor wire. Ouch! |
If you've ever read Lamb to the Slaughter or seen it's episode on Alfred Hitchcock Presents, then someone being killed with a Pot Roast isn't as impressive.
Good movie kills: Ghost Dog shooting a guy through the sink Brandt in Equilibrium Scott in From Dusk Til Dawn Maine (the Convict) in Identity Weasil in Last House on the Left the 54 schoolgirl mass suicide in Suicide Circle the other prisoner in Versus Scott Tenormen |

it's not so unrealistic. I've seen the non-curvey plumbing before, if you had awesome aim it's possible to shoot someone through a sink
|
The beginning in Ghost Ship was awesome! Everyone was just cut in half and that girl was just left there...... A good kill scene for a bad movie.

ooooo i kno!!!!!!
uh pet semitary!!! that little kid was so evil!!!!!!!!! i loved it!

This is by far one of the best underrated films I have ever seen, I happened across at the vid store and rented it I was blown away by DaFoes performance, the firefight scene was spectacular, and him reinacting the shootings was so cool the way he did it. ' We'll start the ass kissing with you.' Moonsorrow you dont know what you are missing. |

Dafoe was great man, especially the firefight scene. Highly reminiscent of Platoon. Ron Jeremy was also great, hehe. "And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patrie, et fili, et spiritu sancti." |
it may not b creative but i loved the scene in the 1st Nightmare on Elm St. when johnny depps charecter gets pulled in to his bed by freddy and all the blood comes out and goes all over the walls. it was so gross!!!!!
|
how bout hellraiser 3? if im not mistaken one ofthe unlucky fellaws gets a duzin poll balls stuffed down his mouth... nice thing to choke on
|
How about a dead guy getting killed? If that counts, then it would have to be the under-water zom who got attacked by the shark in Fulci's "Zombi." That was wicked insane. Splinter in the bimbo's eye was alos pretty cool. As was heli-topped zom in "Dawn of the Dead."
|
childs play 3 always makes me laugh when chucky gives that guy a heart atack
|
Bride of Chucky...Hotel Room...Giant Waterbed...Mirrored Ceiling...Champagne Bottle...'Nuff Said... :)
|
that guy in Dog Soldiers who got impaled on that spiked log, it was a trap set by the werewolves
ps. i also love that moment when that werewolf grabs the gun from that soldier and fires a shot back, the soldier dodges it, but its cool that a werewolf can use a gun even if only one shot. |
I like most of the death scenes in Day of the dead...
