I'd much rather see another ELM St. sequel than another Jason movie. There were way too many of those in my opinion.

Honestly, I think all the classics sequels should be left off as they are now. NoES, F13, and Halloween have had so many bad sequels they should just be put out of their misery.

What you say is true, but I do have to say that I enjoyed the Freddy films more so than the Jason or Leatherface ones.

i heard that nightmare on elm street part 2 is coming out sometime in 1985 or 86 . . . looking forward to it.

:D

I heard it was going to be a prequel i.e before the towns people burned Freddy, but that idea sounds stupid.

It would just be 1 and a half hours of a paedophile with no special powers going around killing kids which would suck. Freddy needs to have powers in order for the movie to not just be another rubbish teen horror movie.

no my friend alex said that he heard about it and i saw it some were on line

makemebad 08-17-2006 10:57 AM

there is going to be a prequel

CrimsonFiend138 08-18-2006 09:16 AM

That is all they ever do is "make him have powers". I wouldn't mind seeing a prequel about when he started, it would delve further into what started started the movies.

But thats what makes him scary...

I agree a prequel could be good, but if like I said, its just a paedophile going around killing kids then it could get very boring, very quickly...thats the MAIN problem of him not having any powers.

CrimsonFiend138 08-20-2006 11:56 AM

I would watch it, it doesn't have to be action packed.

Pedophiles are chilling and I think besides it being a Nightmare film, as a different film it would be interesting.

all of the NoES sequels were splendid, with the exception of #5. F13 I will agree with, it was the same thing over and over, at least NoES had a bit of creativity with the whole dream situation thing. Halloween, well, you just can't knock it. All of the sequels were good.

Ooky_Kabuki 08-21-2006 04:26 PM

I think it could be decent if they started it out with his mom being locked in the asylum for the weekend and being raped by 1000 maniacs.....

Ooky_Kabuki 08-21-2006 04:26 PM

And NOOOOOOOOOO, H2O and that last one were HORRIBLE!!!!

That movie was TERRIBLE. It was made for the "Teenie-Bopper" crowd. HE was BAD ASS in The Curse of Michael Myers (#6 I think).

CrimsonFiend138 08-23-2006 01:29 PM

He ran is 6, Myers doesnt RUN maybe a fast walk but he JOGGED, lol I love 6 though.
