Fat, cholsterol, sodium... MMmmmmmm...

What is the worst for you food you have ever eaten?

Personally, i once made a breakfast hamburger for a late night snack. Here it is:

2 prefab hamburger patties. the kind that cook up to 1/3 their original size because they are 2/3 fat.

two fried eggs

(all of the above were fired in butter and bacon fat. i cooked the eggs second so they could absorb some hamburger grease too)

On a buttered toasted bun with mayo and grey pupon

with 2 slices of cheese.

Washed down with a beer.

I think the vegetables in the house were pushed outward from the sandwich by a sphere of anti-health.

LOL...Tauruses are garbage eaters...It's a well-known fact

And...Cancers just love food...Cooking it, experimenting with it, AND eating it (but, not just mostly junk food, like Tauruses)...So, Dustin (Cancer) said, "Dude...That sandwich sounds AWESOME...I want one!"...lol

I can't really think of anything TERRIBLY unhealthy that I've eaten...Except fast food in general...

Nothing exotic, experimental or otherwise 'cool' :)

McDonald's

Vodstok 08-11-2006 05:47 AM

There's always the exception...Plus, you're very close to the Gemini cusp...That HAS to cause anomalies :)

If he was Scottish, it would be "MacDonald's".

In my home state we have what is oddly enough called "N.Y.SYSTEM HOT WEINERS". Its a hot dog on a steamed bun, with mustard, meat sauce, onion and celery salt.
When I was much younger....on a bet...I ate ten of these things in one sitting. I was not feeling well for a couple of days after.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...x-alldaway.jpgbut they are very good

 Wow...
I have never done such a thing...

i have, however, recently had a double cheeseburger, big-mac, and a big and tasty from mcdonalds, with some fires, and of course, beer.

I was perplexed about how to answer, and then suddenly it came to me--I can give you not only a description of the food, but also a website that tells you about it:

The Oki Dog

http://hotdogspot.com/2004/07/oki-do...s-in-town.html

"Oki Dog" is a large flour tortilla with two weird chewy hot dogs in it, American cheese, spicy beef chili, and pastrami. It's full of salt.

Hey...We have something like that here...But, Cincinnati style chili isn't the same as others...It's mostly meat with seasoned tomato sauce...Chili powder, spices...even chocolate and cinnamon...I know it sounds weird, but it's really good...Check out a couple of our chains' websites if you're curious...

This one has a full menu, but the menu uses adobe reader:

http://www.goldstarchili.com/

http://www.skylinechili.com/skyline_essentials.php

The second one shows all the different ways we eat the chili here

This picture is the most common...Hot dog on bun with mustard, chili, cheese and onions...That's a cheese coney

*sigh* I miss Krispy Kremes. All the stores in my area closed down. If I want one, now I have to go to Maryland.

Vodstok 08-11-2006 10:05 AM

They havent been doing too well in new england apparently. its a shame too, they are amazingly good.

However, for my money, a large dunkin donuts coffee with a chocolate creme filled and boston cream donut is all i need to be happy.

The Flayed One 08-11-2006 10:10 AM

When they opened their first store in Seattle, I remember there was a line at midnight of people waiting to get in. Don't know how it's been doing since; I've been gone for over 2 years now:mad:

Vodstok 08-11-2006 10:17 AM

My mother in law live sjust outside of seattle. i could probably ask her...

wher ei live there arent any krispy kreme restauraunts, just these lttle coffee stands called "Aroma Joes" that happen to sell krispy kremes as their donuts.... great shit...

No kidding.. Sweetened chocolate flavored shortening piped into a powdered donut with no hole... Pastry perfection.

I like the ones Krispy Kremes makes - no powder, glaze instead. Yummy!

Really?!

Man.... >:(

The powder is annoying, especially when wearing dark colors.

crabapple 08-11-2006 10:42 AM

You bastards!

It's barely 11 in the morning here and I want a donut now

and what's worse, I may actually go and get one

and if I get one I'll "justify" the trip by getting more than one

You bastards!

You can further justify it by saying you're having one for me!! :p

Turduchen

Ever heard of the Turduchen?

I prepared one for Thanksgiving dinner two years ago it's amazing.

A deboned turkey stuffed with a deboned duck stuffed with a deboned chicken and in between each layer of meat is a different flavored stuffing - cornbread stuffing, oyster stuffing, sausage stuffing.

Roast and slice straight down to get a bite of everthing on the plate at one.

While not exactly gross, it is and orgiastic expression of fowl love

Actually, I HAVE heard of that...It's a LOT of work...Mostly the deboning...

We've never made it because we really aren't very fond of duck....Of course, I suppose we could make a 'Turken' :)

A boyfriend of mine from the 90's (who had Tourettes and Epilepsy, maybe that was significant?) made me (as his new GF it was allegedly a tradition to)eat his favourite sandwich of:
Vegemite
Peanut Butter
Crumbled Stock Cubes and
Worcestershire Sauce all mixed together.
It was the only time i'd ever had heartburn...:(

UGH...That sounds terrible...WAY worse than peanut butter and chili :)

psiren 08-12-2006 01:11 PM

this guy used to drink neat vinegar from the bottle and pop stock cubes like candy. i thought he was nuts and he confirmed that when he became the second ever person to propose to me!:p
...no, i didn't accept.

Roderick Usher 08-12-2006 03:08 PM

How about the Monte Christo sandwich?

Mmmmmmmmmmmm - battered and fried - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

crabapple 08-12-2006 03:20 PM

Yeah. Battered and fried. And dipped in warm melted grape jelly. A fucking battered fried meat sandwich dipped in jelly. Yes. Awesome. There is a restaurant I know that makes a really good one, but it's in Disneyland so I have to get in there before I can eat one.

I have one down the street from me,and when we see the sign that says" Hot,Fresh,Now" all lit up, we turn down our car windows and you can SMELL the doughnuts in the air.
Magnificent.

But you guys have Dunkin Doughnuts!
Which I ALSO love but do not have any down here:(
Maybe we can start some kind of smuggling ring where Dunkin Doughnut boxes and Krispy Kreme boxes are exchanged at the VA border so neither of us has to suffer:D

We have Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme less than 5 minutes from our house:

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
7303 Turfway Rd
Florence, KY 41042

Dunkin' Donuts
7951 US Highway 42
Florence, KY 41042

Oooh...What's that sound?...Do I hear 'writhing in jealousy'? :p :D

orangestar 08-12-2006 04:56 PM

There are a couple of Krispy Kreme stores, and dozens of convenience stores which sell Krispy Kremes within 10 minutes of my house. It's fantastic. I could never switch back to Dunkin Donuts.

Rayne is right. I'm a Taurus and all I eat is junk food. I keep hoping that I'll grow out of it.
