Gargoyles

Has anyone ever seen this movie? It was made in the 60,s maybe early 70,s. I saw this when I was a kid and it's the only movie that ever gave me nightmares.
My husband and I have been looking for info on it because it affected him the same way (only he still has nightmares from it after all of these years).
Nobody seems to know anything about it and nobody else we know has ever seen it. Any info would be appreciated.

Do you mean the 1972 telemovie? I remember seeing this when I was quite young - I don't remember many of the details but did enjoy it quite alot at the time.

Does anyone know if this is available on DVD? The places I buy from don't have it (at least not as a standalone disc). Is it available as part of a pack?

Try this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068622/

I believe Stan Winston handled the creature effects(worth mentioning).

The first Horror movie I ever actually owned. And yes, it is available on DVD. This movie was good, in a weird, cheezy kind of way.

Looks like it is discontinued now though.

This one was pretty damn good for a TV movie.

Thank you all very much!!
I would love to see it again now just to try to see what it was that scared me so bad when I was 5 years old.
Thanks again!!

Great horror flick from the early 70's
Bernie Casey plays the head gargoyle.
Look for a young Scott Glenn in this made for TV flick.

One of my mother's favorite horror movies. I sat though that one every time it was on tv. Pretty good stuff, though, and just scary enough to make a little kid really tremble. I thought my family was the only one that really enjoyed that movie.

I like this movie.
I still think that some of the best horror movies
ever made came from he 70's.

Haven't seen this movie since I was 5. My brother saw it recently, said it blowed. I remember sneaking into the living room while my brothers were watching it and my mom shooing me back to bed.
So truthfully, I haven't seen all of it.:(

Yes, the cartoon show was good.

Cornele Wilde (sp?) was in it. I remember thinking his career was over. A long way from Leave Her to Heaven. (But look how far Vinnie Price went after that flick.)

I think I had become quite hardened by the time this came out and it didn't have enough to scare me.
