most action packed movies?

what's the most action packed film you have ever seen, or whats the most action packed film that has ever existed in your opinion. it doesnt have to be a good film necassarily, just a trashy action film, such as Cobra.

Invasion USA is one, Forced Vengeance nother...

then there was Matrix Reloaded...
Universal Soldier...
Fast and the Furious...
Showdown in Little Tokyo...
Punisher...
Marked for Death...
Death Wish 3...
Blind Fury...
American Ninja 2...
Dirty Dozen...

If I were to pick one...I would pick M:Reloaded...for its kickass sequences...there cant be another one better...:D

I completely agree. IMO, this is the most fun, and my personal favorite, action movie ever. Period.

Yes, of course that's Robocop! Well actually it'd ED-209, from Robocop. Quite possibly the best action movie of all time, IMO.

I also enjoyed Unleashed...I dont think it belongs in a thread like this because the action was sparce, but it was still a great movie.

Yes, it wouldn't be considered "action packed" but the graceful slow sequences in between the action made me all the more appreciative of the violence when it came....it was almost like a perfectly arranged poem to me....

How about the Kung Fu Hustle? THAT was action packed, right?

Agreed 100% on what you said about Unleashed, by the way

Miss Olivia 05-18-2006 05:54 PM

Kung Fu Hustle is an instant classic....I haven't gotten tired of watching it yet....arguably the best and most original kung fu movie in years....

John Woo = Awesome.

I got a picture next to his handprints in the cement in Hollywood (outside the Chinese Theatre) while I was out there.

Yeah, that's true, but I liked Broken Arrow & Face/Off. Hard Target was alright but it was basically a remake of The Most Dangerous Game with a poor actor in the lead. MI2, Paycheck & Hostage didn't do much for me and I never saw Windtalkers. But John Woo is scheduled to direct the Metroid movie and He-Man & the Masters of the Universe movie, both of which I'm looking forward to.

face/off was closest to his HK movies

broken arrow was enjoyable nonsence but made him "bankable"

though hard target isn't great, it's one of the ballerina's better movies

Raiders of the Lost Ark...the most complete action flick till the beginning of 2000...

Jones (excitedly interpreting): The Nazis have discovered Tanis...Tanis is one of the possible resting places of the Lost Ark...yeah, the Ark of the Covenant, the chest the Hebrews used to carry around the Ten Commandments in...the original stone tablets that Moses brought down out of Mt. Heron and smashed, if you believe in that sort of thing...The Hebrews took the broken pieces and put them in the Ark. When they settled in Canaan, they put the Ark in a place called the Temple of Solomon...[in Jerusalem]...where it stayed for many years, until, all of a sudden, whoosh, it was gone...Nobody knows where or when.

Elvis_Christ 05-20-2006 03:38 AM

Story Of Ricky
Out For Justice

and as people have mentioned Robocop and Commando. The original Terminator was faced paced and action packed and you can't fuck with Die Hard either.

I don't think any Indie Jones movie was really all THAT action packed. Good movies, and maybe in they're time they were packed, but compared to a lot of things, there's no chance. Raiders is an amazing movie by the way.

JokerMONEY3000 05-20-2006 05:05 AM

Vertical Limit

Posher778 06-18-2006 01:59 PM

Kill Bill V.1 Is probably the goriest, bloodiest, most action packed ( or at least for the last like... 30 minutes solid) movie i've ever seen.

daviejones 06-26-2006 01:25 PM

Robocop
Total Recall
Aliens

Can't beat 'em.
