now that the original producer of all the eight movies is dead (Moustapha Akkad), his son has taken over the mantle of producing H9. But without the Carpenter touch, who knows what it will turn out as?

Ang Lee isnt H9 director or we would surely have that angle in it...

I m sure it ll be old school slasher...like the remake of Friday the 13th...tracing the origins of ol'Mikey...

Hey _____V_____, I couldn't agree with you more buddy...Bringing back the MM that we all know and love to be scared of, would just be the right thing to do and like you the Halloween theme is playing in my head...Love the originial movie, and love the theme as well... GO MICHAEL MYERS!!! :)

It would be worth seeing Mikey as he was in H1 and H2...and not some stupid versus movie against Jason or Freddy...I sincerely hope they drop THAT idea...

I have to admit, I did like the Freddy vs. Jason movie even though it somewhat killed the storylines of both movies :( If they did the same for Halloween, I would definitely be pissed to high heaven, because the storyline on Halloween was perfectly written and one of these one vs. the other movies would definitely fuck up the MM we all know and love. So, I guess the best thing to do is keep our fingers crossed and then some, and pray our asses off that they don't do anything like they did to good old Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger.

With threads hanging, it would be impossible to make either a Jason or a Freddy movie now, without referring to FvJ in the beginning, else it wont make sense. Same goes for Mikey too.

Its only of curious value to see horror icons pitted against each other..."we know em to be badass killers, who is gonna win if they fight EACH OTHER?"...but I would call the "vs" movies franchise killers...
