What brand do you smoke?

What brand of cigarettes do you fellow smokers puff?

I smoke Newport Menthol 100's and Menthol Seneca 100's...Senecas are this brand of cheap smokes my mom orders from New York to save money

I really am kind of young to be smoking, but my ex-boyfriend Jason ( I am bi so umm yeah) got me into it and I have been smoking on and off for the last 5 months

cheebacheeba 04-20-2006 09:26 PM

The Flayed One 04-21-2006 08:49 AM

Generally, Marlboro Lights. I become infatuated with different brands every now and then (Kamel Red Lights, Camel Turkish Silver) but I always seem to end up back at the Cowboy Killers younger brother.

Camels

Unfortunately, mental illness and cigs go together like bullets and guns (or flies and the undead [thank you, Corey Feldman]). However, I am planning and replanning to quit as am having major problems with headaches. Cigarettes make headaches much worse. I hate headaches, especially when they happen every day because they're rebound headaches, because doctors don't tell you that treating chronic headaches with painkillers causes your body to hate painkillers thus causing it to retaliate with headaches painkillers won't touch so you have to stop taking painkillers and deal with a month long headache that won't go away and it doesn't help when your fucking dad walks through the house with a fucking cigar like my dad just did.

Remember I quit back in January? Well, guess what? I'm smoking again. Started again last month. Stress does it every time! I will try again eventually. I've tried about 10 times.

Haunted 04-21-2006 12:06 PM

Keep trying. That's my thing. I've tried, and I keep trying. I figure that one day, I'll get it right. I quit for two years once. Then I quit for three months. I know it's in us, girlfriend, we just have to reach in and pull it out. I figure that if you never give up trying, eventually that part of your brain that's hooked will eventually get the message and then it will quit. I'm not giving up on trying to quit.

In fact, I just smoked my last one. Let's see how long I can go, shall we?

alkytrio666 04-21-2006 12:11 PM

Smoking cigarettes, to me, is just dumb.

You could just cut your wrists a little more each day with a piece of paper.

Posher778 04-21-2006 12:14 PM

I don't smoke, I like having working body parts.

Cigarettes are totally evil.

I smoke Camels.

Despare 04-21-2006 12:31 PM

"My doctor showed me a smoker's lung....OOOOO IT WAS GROSS AND DISGUSTING. Then he showed me a normal person's lung....OOOOO IT WAS GROSS AND DISGUSTING TOO. That's why they keep them on the inside."

I quit a while back but I liked Marlboros, usually light 100s because they lasted longer. Try Lucky Strike unfiltered... you get a nice mouth full of crap blah.

Me being attracted to both guys and girls makes you sick?

Just because I am bi doesn't make me a homophobe, that would be like being a phobe of myself because in a way I am 50% gay.

And the only reason I added umm yeah in there was because I didn't know how people would react...my last forum wasn't exactly gay/bi friendly.

The STE 04-21-2006 04:41 PM

no, your blatant hatred of gay people, and your denial of your own gayness, that's what makes me sick

Read what he said, and then read it again. His double entendres are usually single entendres and proud of it. Dig?

Abominus 04-21-2006 05:49 PM

Hilarious STE, you're my hero for this evening. I don't smoke (pot, cigs, pole). Me...I like the sauce.

cheebacheeba 04-21-2006 07:39 PM

I just don't get smokers...I do it to relax, stress gets me back on 'em every time...I mean, I've smoked before, sometimes still do (when I'm drunk and therefore stupid), over the times I've tried it, never once has it made me feel less stressed, relaxed, chilled....anything....I'm just wondering what level of actual chemical dependance one has to reach to either make the above true, or convince themselves this is the case.
Smoking's gross...I mean, I aint about to botch at people for mauling their own health, but smoking anyplace but your own home effects others. It's not only partaking in a drug habit outside of home, but endorsing it as well. Don't even get me started on "cigarette breaks"...I mean...I could enjoy walking up to people and slapping them hard in the face, because it makes me feel slightly better, less stressed, and would more than likely put me in good spirits for at least a while...but dp I get a random slapathon break? No.
In closing, I look foward to the complete public ban.

Cigarette's makes me calm when I get pissed, when I'm really pissed they still work. Go head start walking up to people and slapping them, just be prepared for you to get your ass kicked. Sorry they are not going to do a complete public ban,so looks like you might die before us with our 2nd hand smoke. *lights one up*

Edit : Oh and I smoke Camel Wides/Newport Kings

What about people who smoked because they liekd it? I loved the taste, the smell... I just enjoyed smoking. I like the smell of second hand smoke still, it's just something I like. I don't do it because I want to stay fit and healthy but they day I have a terminal disease is the day I buy another carton.

Hmm...well, I can't really imagine things from that perspective, because every time I've tried it, all it's done is made me cough and my eyes water. When I'm in smokers presence, all I can think about is how vile it smells, in the air, on breath, and if you're unlucky enough to come across those that have their clothes permeated with the smell, you'll know it.
A cigar, sure...I personally think they smell great, and taste...acceptable, but I wouldn't make it a habit. As for that tailor-made shit...how people EVER get past the first draw is a mystery to me. Must be peer pressure leading into chemical dependance...I really CAN'T believe that anyone's tried it, and straight up said "Man, I love this!"...you can tell me I'm wrong, but I'm not gonna agree.

I don't buy it...I think that's just what smokers say instead of "I'm hanging out for my next fix like a strung out junkie." It's sad...say, if you catch a train, you see the smokers bustling towards the doors (even after as little as a five minute train ride), cigarettes in hand, all but rocking back and forth, before they dash out and light up immediately. SURE, they're all just STRESSED, right?

Quote:

Who's "they"? Do you know "them"?
I suspect the main reason there's not a complete ban already is because of the amount of people in govt positions who are either smokers themselves, or those that benefit from the continued sales...clearly biased...They're more than likely in a majority, but then again, so are stupid people.
However, I still have faith that there's enough intelligence left in the human race to eventually resolve this issue, and have this drug habit confined to the home, as all others should be.

ANyways, maniac...you seem a little touchy about the topic, so maybe you should kick back and light up another one, I mean, if as you say, you calm yourself by putting something in your mouth and sucking it...I've said all I care to.

Don't just assume what leads people to things. I started smoking by myself and enjoyed it. Nobody pressured me or even offered me one, the first draw was my favorite and if every hit was like the first I'd smoke today redgardless of health issues. Personally I think that even a fine cigar stinks and the taste really isn't there either. If you want taste though, go with Cloves, those cigarettes with the sugary sweet finish were great.

ItsAlive75 04-22-2006 09:41 AM

Yep... I have a strong opinion on a subject and REFUSE to accept other people's views on the topic. It's MY way or the HIGHWAY.

People can do what they want, so just let em'.

Look, I am not against you because you are bi, but i'm going to be completely honest and blatant with you.... You're rarely going to find a place on the internet that is going to hear you say "i'm gay/ bi whatever, and react positively about it. So if you don't want bad remarks about it, just don't point it out...

Once again.... not really against you.... but it was a stupid thing to do if you don't want to be bashed by someone.

Dude, what the fuck. What the fuck is so wrong about being bisexual? It's a choice, why would everyone react so negatively about it?

Let's say being weak is wrong, or being black is wrong, or being handicapped is wrong. Jesus fuckin' Christ, guys...
