What song or artist gives you comfort.You know...that one song you hear that just seems to put your mind at ease.
My song would be "Ridgetop" by Jesse Colin Young.
As far as artist, i would say James Taylor has that soothing kind of voice.

Because you know" Music soothes the savage beast".....that and beer.

Most definitely, Bryan Ferry has the same soothing qualitys as JT. [ I mean that in the most non-gayest way possible]

Lifehouse - Most any song from their self titled album.

It's strange, but I find any song on "A Basement From the Hill" by Elliott Smith fairly soothing. Although, I can say this about a lot of Elliott's songs.
