new Internet horror/sci-fi TV station
Dear Forum Members:
Please check out our new website, Ghoulapalooza TV (www.ghoulapaloozatv.com). It's an Internet TV station dedicated to horror/sci-fi films & television from the mid-1960s and earlier. The format is this...every two weeks, we post 8 hours of retro horror/sci-fi films & tv episodes that will be available for viewing 24/7 until the next batch goes up. Most of the material is from the public domain. However, we're also doing some original programming: a 30-minute Lois Lane/Kolchak cross called 'Monster Beat', a series of mock educational films (all of which end tragically, of course) under the banner 'Don't, Miss B. Have!', and 'Ghoulicia's Drive-In Doubles', run by our own 'hostess-with-the-mostest'. We begin broadcasting at midnight on April 29th. Until then, we'll be posting new material regularly- blogs & photos from the filming, bios, film clips, etc. So come check us out if you get a chance! Does it ever end? Does it?
We should have a spam talley, just to see how much spam we get a week. All right, that being said. Kick this fucker's ass. |

|
Now this is spam I might actually check out.
Every now and then a spammer has a good idea...Nightmare World in the comics forum being the best example. |
DON'T ENCOURAGE THEM!!!
You didn't have to post that, Return. They might hear you.;) |
No, fuck this. CEASE THE SPAM! Haunted, your a witch, why don't you conjure some spell or something to kills these fucktards?
|
You can't say that this one didnt prick your interst a bit...comeon, free horror shows? Nothing wrong with that as far as Im concerned!
Now, on the other hand, these guys coming around pimping their movies and trying to sell their crap should be shot. Im fine with the ones advertising free horror stuff though:) |
Doesn't interest me, he's not planning on staying so why should I support it anyway. And i'd have to fill something out, and I hate doing that.
|
...well at least they're getting more subtle about it...

The subtle ones are the worst! I much rather they just came right out with it, as oposed to insulting out intelligence with posts like: "Hi guys! I was wondering if you'd ever heard of [Insert film nobody's heard of]? I stumbled across it's website, www.imaspammer.com , and it looks really cool! It comes out on the 30th of February, so Ive heared. You should check it out!" Id much prefer they were at least honest about their spam... |
betcha there will be some kind of fee
even if they are b flix still sounds too good to be true  all this spam shit must have started up while i was gone what's up with that |

$10 for a ticket to their premier. Considering I dont live anywhere near central Pensylvania, that doesnt bother me. Here's the part you actually should have read: Quote:

It sounds too unkempt. And the way they type is like 12 year old ish, so its probably a rip off.

re: Ghoulapalooza TV
Hi. First of all, I want to apologize to those feeling spammed. That wasn't the intent- just wanted to share something I thought might be of interest, and a forum such as Horror.com seemed a reasonable place to do that. If I caused offense, I'm sorry.
The comments regarding me being someone who will never post again anyway seem fair enough. The truth is that I probably won't post often, though that's more because of a lack of time than interest. Not meant as an excuse- that's just how it is. As for the unkemptness of the site...again, fair enough. The current Ghoulapalooza TV website is meant as a placeholder until we begin broadcasting; the final site will be significantly more kempt- functional and at least somewhat fun. And finally...the $10 charge is for the premiere event only, which is in part a fundraiser for the arts magnet school that I'm working with. But that's the only charge related to Ghoulapalooza TV. There are no fees (hidden or otherwise), no forms or anything to fill out, no annoying pop-ups, nothing of the sort. People can come & go as they want, and will have the choice of watching via streaming video or downloading individual programs. The picture quality won't be stunningly good (of course, neither is much of the content!), but it'll be at a level equal to (or a little better than) that of Movieflix.com, for example. Ghoulapalooza TV isn't meant as a money-making venture. It's just the work of someone who grew up with horror & sci-fi, and who wants to share some forgotten treasures (and a lot of schlock) with whoever wants to watch. My apologies again, Guy Incognito |
well, that having been said
my heart is now at rest |
No problem. Just felt like equal parts apology & clarification were in order.
