Great welcome guys...thanks. I hope this isn't what I can look forward to here. By the way, there is a difference between a "spammer" and a person that runs a site that gets free promotional materials from studios to give away to fans.

Anyway it COULD be the magazine connection, makes people wary. Time will tell I guess. Welcome if you're for real.

Yeah mona you're the coolest "newer person" even though your not really new anymore, but, still, best newer person in a long time.

That's cool, I don't sweat being flamed on forums. It's almost like hazing.

Why would it make people wary that I run a horror themed online magazine? I can respect people's opinions but I didn't come here to advertise, I came here because like I said, I wanted to be a part of an interesting horror community that I have lurked on for a long time now. I guess I just won't post about my magazine's contests on here anymore. I thought that maybe horror forum members would appreciate receiving free horror movie promos. That's all.

And as stated earlier, we tend to get spammed to death by people trying to pimp their shit, so we are always on the defensive...hell, some of us lay and wait for 'em to try! Kinda like our very own built in Sergeant at Arms. We didn't start out paranoid, spammers made us that way.


And remember... "Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean someone isn't following you!"
