..or maybe its overheated

Zero 03-06-2006 11:47 AM

is it in the oven? I know everytime i put my laptop in the oven -and then put the broiler on - it starts to smell likes its burning

Posher778 03-06-2006 12:27 PM

It mighyt be your computer fan, (that noise your computer makes, the humming one) sometimes they either don't work, or over work, causing stuff to heat up. Not sure about the burning, might want to check that out or you might end up like the teacher from final destination.

You didn't do any overclocking did you? Besides your fan check your powersource.

Nyarlathotep 03-06-2006 01:11 PM

is it your computer or your monitor?

Not unless you can do that by accident. :D It's actually not the computer, it's coming from downstairs. 0.o

LMAO

AKS, I suggest pouring some water in any open holes. If something's burning, that water'll put it out.

EDIT: And now that I read what everyone said AFTER my post.... I just seem like an idiot.

My computer smells like burning... what? You never finished (and I hate cliffhangers).

Anyway, you could just use this...
