..... should definately be added to my list ...

newb 02-21-2006 06:26 AM

I can't believe i left out Clint.

urgeok 02-21-2006 06:31 AM

i actually dont feel that way about him ..
he's made some movies that i could have gone without seeing ...

his performance is solid ...but you always know what you're going to get ... ALWAYS.

Same goes for De niro and Pacino ..

i also think these 3 guys (who you would think should be on my list) have made films in the past that i didnt want to see - despite the fact that they were in them.

i cant say that - yet - about any of the actors athat are on my list..

The Flayed One 02-21-2006 06:34 AM

I can't believe I left out Geoffrey Rush.

I should probably go ahead and add Lance Henriksen, too!

D'oh. Brad Dourif needs to be there too. Sheesh.

Despare 02-21-2006 06:35 AM

Wow I think they may have all been listed. Except for Christopher Walken, he's the man.

newb 02-21-2006 06:38 AM

I can think of only two from Clint that i didn't like.

The Gauntlet & Pink Cadillac.

But i understand where you're coming from.

newb 02-21-2006 06:40 AM

Morgan Freeman is pretty solid as well.

urgeok 02-21-2006 06:40 AM

lance henricksen, Geoffery Rush, and Christopher Walken .. all good choices I'd have to add as well.

i didnt care for Firefox, The Rookie, and Tightrope either ..

or the one where he was a country singer ..

another example ..

i've had no desire to see Bridges of Madison County despite his participation.

I dont like M. Streep at all so that doesnt help much.

That's not what this thread's for....
I don't watch movies for specific actor's...
Later....

AUSTIN316426808 02-21-2006 06:49 AM

I thought about it and I'll add Denzel Washington to my list as well as...

James Caan
Geoffery Rush

Those two are also in the 'Stuck in the middle' category.

Me too, but only because it came on Encore a couple days ago and I saw his name on the info page. Somewhere down the line I would've rented it or bought it real cheap.

But like I said(even though I think he's outstanding) I never see him and feel the need to make it to the theatre or the video store on release day.

On the other hand I guess it still counts because no matter how far down the line, wether I rush to the theatre or not ect. I still end up watching there movies because they're in it if for no other reason.

Oh man, I forgot about Annette Bening - I agree with you Austin, she's great. And Uma Thurman and Renee Zellweger. I've only seen Keira Knightley in Pirates of the Caribbean, so I can't say yet whether she's one of my favorites. Don't know Ziyi Zhang.

hammerfan 02-21-2006 09:17 AM

I didn't know which one to quote so I'll just send this to urgeok:

I lied - I saw Robin and Marian with Sean Connery (another actor to add to my list).

If you're into Asian films you should check some of hers out. Only American film I can think of is Memoirs of a Geisha and Rush Hour 2, I'm not 100% sure but I think everything else she's in is Asian.
