I have a thread just like this one in the modern Horror section.Dawn of the Dead 78 is my pick for best of all time, Zombie or Zombie 2 would be My next choice.:)

I'd have to say either Day of the Dead, Re-Animator, or Return of the Living Dead.

Worst would have to go to All Souls Day: Dia de los Muertos.There's probably worse out there, but I havent seen any.

"The Video Dead"....it's so bad you'll love it.

Hard to choose,have to say the classic night of the living dead,Bride of the re-Animator,re-Animator,and Land of the dead.:eek:

That was my problem with All Souls Day...it wasnt even so-bad-it's-funny. Just stupid, boring, and full of EVERY cliche you can think of. I mean House of the Dead was pretty bad, but at least it was fun.

Ghost Lake is without a doubt the worst zombie flick I've seen. Hide & Creep and The Wickeds come as steady runner-ups.

Dawn of the Dead '78 is my favorite zombie flick.

It didn't get any Oscars that year and wasn't even NOMINATED, but I'll never understand why. It's a perfect film. Perfectly AWFUL!!!!!

Yeah "Hide And Creep" was fucking horrid...

Dawn Of The Dead original is tops for me, with Fulci's Zombie, Shaun Of The Dead, and Brain Dead aka Dead Alive not far behind...

What? No mention of "Childrend Of The Living Dead"? :D Even Tom Savini said 'yeah, it's shit' about the acting and overall production of the movie. Pretty bad when you actually admit to being in a movie that horrible. ;)
I dunno.... I like Romero's original zombie movies, but Fulci's zombies are just so much more callous and destructive, so I'm gonna have to go with Fulci on this one. :)

yeah yeah........Chud 2: Bud the Chud, just found a copy of that at the local video store, had to get it because it was so rare. It's no great movie but it's entertaining, and very 80's.

I liked Land of the Dead but it is the worst in that series. I really think Day of the Dead is under-rated... WAY under-rated.

Dawn of the Dead (original) = Best Zombie Film
Hard Rock Zombies = Most enjoyable Zombie Film
Virus = Worst Zombie Film.

I must admit a certain hatred for Troma's 'Zombie Island Massacre' too. That move annoyed me.
