(M*A*S*H) Did you know the person who made the tv show M*A*S*H, hatted this country and the troops who fought in Vietnam. He makes thinks americans are stupid. This is what M*A*S*H is all about making fun of the war and the ppl who died in the war. alot of ppl don't know about that? M*A*S*H is a comedy show acting stupid is there work, this is how they really think about the Vet's they think there stupid just like the americans. there ANTI-AMERICANS M*A*S*H

M*A*S*H was about the Korean war though. Oh and I know a vet that loved both M*A*S*H and Hogan's Heroes.

well i was wrong on one part :D but what i said was the truth. of cource ppl likes M*A*S*H I use to watch every episode on FX. I knew about what was the show really about but i still watch it. Ok i don't watch it that show been on so long you know every episode with out watching it. :D

I can't stand the damned theme song. If I hear one note from 'Suicide is Painless' the entire damned song sticks in my head for the rest of the day. :mad:

It's true that Robert Altman made MASH (the movie, not the TV show) as a satire of the Vietnam War. He only based the movie in Korea so as to make it a little removed from current events of the time. It was satire, but I really don't think Altman intended it to be hateful.

MASH stands for Most Americans = Stupid Hicks

MASH was set in Korea and it was meant to make a statemen about the Vietnam war. I don't think one episode of the show tries to pretend it is PRO war. Why is it that anything anti-war is automatically anti-American? Letting people see the horrors of war is a pro-American thing to do. If war was easy everyone would be doing it! People die. It's an ugly business and should be avoided whenever possible. That is not an anti-American statement. Most soldiers would rather live during peacetime too. In fact, being so intimidating that everyone is scared to go to war with your country is what every military should really want. Owning nukes is like a gorilla beating its chest. Posturing...in the hopes you won't have to use your strength and risk your resources.

War is bad. America is good. America at War is a good country going through a bad time. This too shall pass and we should all thank those who are fighting to get us through it, whether you feel they should be there or not.

Was that too political? I was just responding to a post, right?
