Superbowl

Who do you guys want to win??

AUSTIN316426808 02-05-2006 08:35 AM

I don't care either way, I just wanna see a good game.

Evenly matched teams, both have their fair share of playmakers. There's no overwhelming weakness on either side so it should be a great game.

Despare 02-05-2006 08:37 AM

I'm torn. Bettis and Foote are hometown guys but as a city we're supposed to remain indifferent right? Well the mayor (one of the worst in HISTORY) gave Bettis the key to the city before the game and it's like a new Steeler nation out here. I want to see Seattle win now, although Bettis does deserve it especially if this is his last game. The track coach at my high school (if he's still around) ran against Bettis in high school and he's supposedly a great guy. Anyway, you can't get around at ALL but I'm thinking about walking around Greektown and checking out all the events. Go Seahawks!

pinkfloyd45769 02-05-2006 09:15 AM

I don't watch much football all year, but i watch the superbowl. I just think it's really the only game that matters,so why waste hours watching all the other games! :p

Carpe Noctem 02-05-2006 09:17 AM

It's not who I want to win, it's who IS going to win.

Steelers.

Posher778 02-05-2006 09:17 AM

zomb5150 02-05-2006 09:21 AM

I've been a Steelers fan all my life, I'd really like to see them win.

Don't forget about Jones and Hutchinson. This might be the first Super Bowl that's on the shoulders of a couple O-lineman.

Shit, I did forget. I credit those guys for making Hasselbeck twice as good as last year, the O-line's really stepped up this year.

Even though I still think Hasselbeck's the man.

"We want the ball first, we're gonna score!"

pinkfloyd45769 02-05-2006 09:44 AM

Did any of you make any bets on the game??

Nope, too broke. Probably wouldn't anyway, not really a gamblin' man.

...maybe a handle of Jim Beam

Despare 02-05-2006 09:48 AM

Totally with ya on Hasselbeck, that game against the 'Skins put him on the next level. I think he can go anywhere and be great, big OL or not. If Favre goes, the understudy is my fav. QB.

i've gotta say i think seattle was kind of ripped off - all the big close calls went pittsburghs way and it seemed like a set- up to me

I thought they got ripped off too. I really hate the long haired Steeler guy, he really bugged me.
