House By the cemetery is freaking scary I thought, did anyone else like it?

yes thats a really great movie...





That should be in the modern horror section ;) and not general.

It is a classic. One of my favorites.

Now, think up another topic, this one could get ugly quick. ;)

I liked this but the end was kinda lame.

Didn´t like it.

i just wished Fulci had wasted that horrible kid.

My opinion on this film is basically summed up by looking down...

i enjoy this film alot....but the copy i own is shit.it's under the "zombie hell house" name which was an american version with reels out of order,bad editing and lousy dubbing.all that aside it's still a damn fine film.

didn't really care for it too much
found it a bit dull
thought the knife through the back of head was awesome though

gates of hell is way better

Top Italian horror, especially in its uncut form.

With The Beyond :D, City of the Living Dead, New York Ripper and Zombie Flesh Eaters, Lucio Fulci's best work.

Fulci killed all the adults & left the moppet to walk off into the sunset, i would have preffered it if he'd wasted the brat 5 seconds after he opened his whining mouth at the start of the film, his voice grated the whole way through.

How did you inerpret the ending? He walked off into the sunset...WITH DEAD PEOPLE! Personally,I saw that as meaning Freudstein did kill him, however his soul was saved by Freudstein's kindly wife, just like she did for Mary. I agree that the kid was just an annoying pain in the ass for most of the movie, but his "daeth" is what made the ending for me.

I never said i thought the kid escaped unharmed, In plain english, I wished Dr Freudstein had crushed that kids Larynx in the first frame of the film rather than let us suffer the whinining brat until the end of the film. Ok?

It's a mediocre film from Fulci, he certainly has a lot better stuff...

Don't Torture A Duckling, The Beyond, New York Ripper, etc, etc...

Although I enjoyed "House by the Cemetery", I found Fulcis' "House of Clocks" to be more entertaining.

I found a copy of "House By The Cemetery" in one of the local video stores for $5.99 and would've bought it had it been the unrated version.

that's probably the version I got, I paid 5.99 for mine at my local video store.

Since it's the in-thing, I just wish they had stamped up and down on that stupid little kids bastard fucking face, and Fulci had wiped his shit-caked arse all over his tiny remains.

Does this satisfy folks' death-lust towards Master Frezza?

His voice was dubbed over by a woman... let's waste her instead!
