i heard from somewhere, that their maybe a sequel to 28 Days Later in the works. i hope it kick ass!

SoUl SuRvIvOrS 12-14-2003 12:07 AM

Really? was it by word of mouth or something like TV?..That would be pretty cool:)

HappyCamper 12-14-2003 05:13 AM

word of mouth

it was by word of mouth..i'm taking it as a rumor right now though

_Leatha_Face_ 12-15-2003 05:15 AM

i hope not! i hated the first and theres no way in hell im going to c the 2nd 1 if its true

VenomX 12-15-2003 06:39 AM

Any idea as to the plot yet?

Aasiyan 12-15-2003 09:45 AM

I wonder where they would go with that. It might be interesting to watch and see. :)

rikki 12-15-2003 09:47 AM

I loved this movie, but a sequel? Sometimes a good thing should just be left alone.

Isn't that the truth???

MichaelMyers 12-16-2003 07:43 AM

That'd be awesome...

avenger00soul 12-16-2003 08:21 AM

I think they pretty much wrapped up the film at the end. But then again, when has that ever stopped anyone from making a sequel (Terminator 3)?

I fixed it.

_Leatha_Face_ 12-16-2003 08:30 AM

how do u do that?

ringmovierocker 12-16-2003 08:41 AM

I liked the first one. but i dont think it would work for a sequal because what could they do uummmmmmmm it spreads to other countries and the same thing happens CRAP. so there should be no sequal to 28 day later;)

.....or maybe they will make a good idea up and the sequal will be good.....;)

ds_spoon 12-17-2003 02:38 AM

i think if they get a good idea and dont stick with the same thing that happens in the first it might be really good the first movie was a big hit and if they do bring a sequel out it better not harm the first movie.

-Corn_Dude- 12-22-2003 12:48 PM

When money talks, bullshit walks. They would even dress up the ragers in ballet suit and make them dance kazachok if that would guarantee them lots of money.

ds_spoon 12-22-2003 01:44 PM

whatever:confused:

PaintGod 01-04-2004 05:02 PM

This baby will have a sequel for sure! It produced great revenue and cost nothing to make. Remember Blair Witch? Hopefully, we get lucky and they are not blinded by the bucks and try and make a decent little monkey for use to rage over.

Signed,
The Phantom

Sam The Egg 01-04-2004 07:41 PM

OMG a sequel! Damn those moneyhungry bastards in Hollywoo-...wait

Sick_As_Fuck 01-04-2004 10:08 PM

I didn't like the 1st one at all too much, but I'd still see the sequel if they made one. I'm a sucker for any horror movie.

_Leatha_Face_ 01-05-2004 10:14 AM

i'd go c it if it was american made and there was alot more money Put into it than the first 1

Ritualistic 01-08-2004 03:31 PM

I can definately live without a sequel to this movie...

ShamSham04 01-08-2004 04:44 PM

Gonna be hard for me to resist seeing this.

Not. The first was freaking horrible.

darth_ed 01-20-2004 01:47 PM

28 days before

the sequal is more of a prequal set from day one we see the mad rush of ppl leaving the citys going 2 the air ports and follows a familys strugel to try and suvive the first 28 days its rumord to end in the church n we all know what happens there!! i carnt wait it will have a totaly diffrent feel to it

Digital Murders 01-20-2004 02:26 PM

The only reason why the movie did well is because in the trailer and on the commercials they said some bullshit like "Scariest movie of the year!" "The scariest movie since The Exorcist!!"

So that's why it made money.

29 Days Later....No.

Make it stop.

KRUGERKID13 01-20-2004 02:44 PM

why make a sequal to such a terribal "zombie" flick give me night of the living dead any day.

VoodooBob 01-29-2004 02:18 AM

While you're waiting....

While you're waiting for the 28 days sequel, sate your appetite with LONDON VOODOO - a new indie British horror with music by SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES' STEVEN SEVERIN and his new group, featuring Arban Ornelas, DARLING HATE.

I enjoyed 28 Days Later but was a bit disappointed with the ending from about when they met the army guys in the mansion. No disappointment here though. Check it out as it does the festival circuit this year starting in LA in March, NY in April and Las Vegas in July.

It did well because it was a good movie and a lot of people enjoyed it.

Presicely. Just because you hated it doesnt mean it sucked. Unless you are referring to Spawn the movie, which sucked a long, engorged donkey cock.

28 days later was great, and tied up well. A "prequal" thingy would be intersting, but they should make that a tv special or something. I dont think it would do all that great in theaters.

I really liked the first one, though. it was gritty. That black dude in the window freaks me out...

predfan 02-01-2004 11:56 PM

i thought 28 days later was an average movie, not as good as it was hyped IMO but ok. i dont think a sequel would be a good idea, i dont see what plot they would have.

_Leatha_Face_ 02-02-2004 10:07 AM

poeple paid to c 28 days later because of the trailer which was absolute bullshit

Wrong, how do people know a good movie before it comes out?

That's what I thought.

People saw it because of the bullshit quotes on the commercials and shit.

voorhees92 02-06-2004 04:54 AM

sequel to 28 days later? nah...

Dark_Deacon 02-06-2004 08:54 AM

it might make sense if they did it from the beginning and from another persons point of view.

coldwhisper 02-13-2004 02:07 AM

Good! Another movie to criticize... Mwahahahaha!:D

LMAO spoken like a true American!!!

sleepaway 02-23-2004 02:25 AM

I'd go see it if it happened but I don't want a second one. Maybe if the first one had even an ounce of originality in it...oh and it's NOT a Zombie movie people! They aren't dead risen - they aren't even dead yet, they just have a disease!!!!!! :D

I cant believe no one has stated this previously. You are very much the voice of reason sleepaway.

I really liked the first one, it has grown on me. Not to mention rekindled my freakin post-apocalyptic nightmare cycle. Yes, folks, I bought it this weekend, watched it last night, and got 4 hours of sleep, the whole time fiolled with a dream that iw as holed up in an apartment with my fiance and a baseball bat..... I may need help.

kpropain 02-23-2004 06:43 AM

I have to say I enjoyed the first 28 days, at least it had some originality to it compared to half of the bullshit movies that are coming out these days.

I would be willing to see the sequel also as long as they don't fuck it all up.
