ItsAlive75 01-19-2006 06:22 PM

mothermold 01-19-2006 06:25 PM

AUSTIN316426808 01-19-2006 10:17 PM

I'm actually looking for a copy.

ShankS 01-20-2006 12:34 AM

Why would someone wish to do that.... It's like assuming I'd chuck out my Rambo Trilogy Collection, after I found out Stallone's film career launched playing the roll of a gay porn actor.

Or...Getting rid of the Psycho remake because of Anne Heche...Or Castaway, Green Mile, and The Burbs because of that one Tom Hanks movie (forgot what it was called)

Hmm..Actually...You can probably find SOME connection in just about ANY movie...

Thank you :)

I think my brain was trying to give me the answer....I kept thinking 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'The Philadelphia Experiment'...lol

I never watched 'Saving Private Ryan' but I HAVE seen the Philadelphia Experiment' and I knew for a FACT that it didn't have anything to do with the Tom Hanks movie....Now, I understand the connection....Still don't get the 'Private Ryan' thing though......Oh well, brains R Funny :D

Umm...I think it's about rejecting movies because of obscure or overt homosexual ties...

Haunted 01-20-2006 04:22 AM

I even watched Angels in America. I've also seen Jefferey, which is a funny movie.

The only reasojn that I won't see Brokeback Mountain is because it looks boring.

And, it isn't a horror movie...That's my reason anyway...

OOH, I just thought of a good one:

Reject all Disney movies because of Ellen Degeneres?

scaryminda15 01-20-2006 04:45 AM

People are upset because of what now???

I work with a guy that threw out all his Judas Priest Cds when he found out that Rob Halford was gay.

Hello!!!!! Mr obivious. Do you listen to the damn lyrics???

Who gives a rats ass. I could care less what someones sexual preference is, and I dont think it makes a damn bit a difference to entertainment value.

oddly enough there was a big article in the New York Times last week about gay cowboys in montana and wyoming who were saying that the kind of violent, homophobic attacks depicted in Brokeback Mountain were still prevalent and the dangers of being openly gay.. . .

oh - and for the record - i loved Brokeback Mountain and while it was slow in a meditative way - it was far from boring

Soloman Kane 01-20-2006 09:04 AM

Are you saying that "Painkiller" is actually a gay song? Hmmm....

MisterSadistro 01-20-2006 09:38 AM

How many vegetarians threw out their copy of 'Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle' because White Castle burgers may actually have meat in them ? :D Gay is someone's preference and has no bearing on me whatsoever. Hell, it leaves even more women to scorn my advances LOL. A writer/actor with my film company is gay. Do I care ? Not a bit. He's a brilliant artist and I couldn't have asked for someone with more dedication to making horror movies with. Grow up a little. It's not like throwing out Roman Polanski films because he's a child rapist...

Same here.

And I can't really say anything bad about gay and/or lesbian people because alot of my friends are. I myself am straight, but I can't fault someone for being that way. I would be a hypocrite if I did because of the way I bitch about people rejecting me because I'm goth.

midge05 01-20-2006 09:44 AM

I havent seen brokeback mountain but does Jake Gyllenhaal actually kiss another man in it?

I haven't seen it (I plan to soon) but I've heard there are some pretty graphic sex scenes.

In a word: Yes.

cheebacheeba 01-20-2006 05:11 PM
