anyone seen this? Russian horror film about vampire, demon slayers. really enjoyed it, great visuals & soundtrack. problem is its the first part of a trilogy & i've now got to wait. There was a teaser trailer for part 2 on the dvd anyone know when its coming out?

Both in post production...due out in 2006 and 2007.

I saw it when it finally came out at the cinemas here (it's been out in Russia, like, forever)...very creative. Loved the subtitling, and the whole dark feel of the movie, the soundtrack fucking kicked as well.
I've heard the sequel will be bigger budget, as the franchise has been picked up by some American studio...don't know what this will do for the overall quality though. I don't think there will be a third film...I know it's based on a trilogy of books, but I think the first movie had parts from the first and second books, as the second will have parts of the second and third.

I watched a different film called nightwatch it was about a nightwatchmen, that worked in a hospital and had to do his rounds everynight. he has to go into the morgue too,It was a pretty good film.

You talking about the original dutch version or the remake with ewan macgregor?

i watched this film with a girl we had staying with us from Holland and she laughed her ass off at all the Dutch references.

i guess they're like the canadians .. just happy to be noticed/mentioned - even if we're the brunt of a joke ..
