Clowns used to scare the fuck out of me when I was little... that clown puppet from Demonic Toys scared the fuck outta me.

That was another one that fucked me up.. I dunno what it is about clowns that scares kids. They're happy! They wear make-up! Kids love all that shit! It just doesn't make sense.

My folks took me to that Barnum & Bailey circus thing and I couldn't even watch the clowns...

Clowns are actually innately evil in their roots. The word Harlequin came from Herle Rex and Erl King, chief of a troop of demons that takes the souls of children. Clown makeup and harlequin makeup as we know it comes from the harlequin, a character whose name innately mocks this evil spirit. So, we created clowns to laugh at the devil. So, something in us notices them regressing a bit now and again.
