The worst film ever seen

I seen lots of horror or so called horror films, for me maybe the worst one i ever seen was The 9th gate (Johnny Depp) I seen that film in the theaters and it sucked. the opening credits was like 15min long what a stupid stupid stupid movie. to me that film is the worst ever has in horror. i would make a poll but they must be tons of worst horror out there.

The STE 11-24-2005 05:20 PM

S.I.C.K.

themerchant 11-24-2005 05:50 PM

I might be alone on this one but, The Ring

Probably would be the Ring 2, but never took the time to see because I knew it would be 10 times worse than the origional, and not just because its a sequal.

Oh yeah, and Texes Chaunsaw massacer 2 was awful.

Elvis_Christ 11-24-2005 06:03 PM

TCM 2 an House of 1000 Corpses worst films ever? Get the fuck outta here! Bill Mosley ruled in both those films and they both had a comic book crazyness going on and were really pyschedelic in tone.

Good to see the hate for Undead is still strong..... fuck I hate that film. You deserve a beer ItsAlive75!

The Mothman 11-24-2005 06:44 PM

A Dog Of Flanders

not a horror movie, but its the worst movie ever.

Marroe 11-24-2005 06:54 PM

I have to agree on The Ring, I thought it was the most boring movie I had to shit at the theatre thru...and haven't seen The Ring 2 either. The Dead Hate The Living was pretty lame, and I know I can think of so many more but I don't feel much like thinking right now:)

noctuary 11-24-2005 07:04 PM

Van Helsing is probably the worst movie I've ever seen. I've managed to blot most of it from my memory, but sometimes it creeps back through.

stubbornforgey 11-24-2005 07:22 PM

so true ..that movie put me to sleep ..
talk aboput drawn out.

ah and elvis ..fellow kiwi..plz tell me you didnt cry..LOL

Sukie 11-25-2005 04:00 PM

I'd like to nominate any of the Blade movies, as well as the ridiculous remakes of The Haunting and House on Haunted Hill.

scouse mac 11-25-2005 04:03 PM

Independance Day was the biggest load of shit. Real shame because it could've been great.

Haunted 11-25-2005 04:08 PM

Return of the Living Dead
Sororiety Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-Orama
Chopping Mall

Now on to more sophisticated pieces of shit:

Sorry folks.... House of 1000 Corpses sucked, no matter how cool Bill Mosely is, that movie was a total disapointment. I intend to see Devil's Rejects now that it's out on video.

Moving on
Alien3 and Alien Reserection
Alien V. Predator
I kinda want to say, Day of the Dead, but it wasn't that bad.
Nightmare on Elm St 2
Yes, indeed 9th Gate blew chunks
Both Blade movies were shit.

I can't speak for everyone so I just speak for myself and the voices in my head.

RavageRitual 11-25-2005 04:10 PM

Couple I think really Suck....

The Satanic Rites Of Dracula
Zodiac Killer
The Revolting Dead
Friday the 13th 8 Jason Takes Manhattan
The Skeleton Key

Haunted 11-26-2005 08:16 AM

There's really a movie called The Satanic Rites of Dracula?

Hoo-funny.

I want to add another to the pot and this was inspired: Satan's Cheerleaders.

Coach: Well I'll be damned
Head blonde cheerleader: Probably

AUSTIN316426808 11-26-2005 08:39 AM

There's also A "Satan's School For Girls".

"The Ring" was okay, but drawn out. And I can't believe they toned down on the goriness of the victims Samara killed. And what the fuck was the deal with Leatherface being a crossdressing retard? He was a badass, ruthless killer in part one. :)

"The Dead Hate The Living"? Fuck that. Most Full Moon movies are pretty bad considering they have at least a decent budget.

lol@Amityville 2 A "possessed lamp"?! :) Now that I need to see just for laughs. :D

Sukie 11-27-2005 10:08 AM

I have a question about the Ring, because it's one of the things that really pissed me off and made me think this movie was really stupid (but friends say I'm wrong but don't say why). Here it is:

The mother shoved Samara down a well. I swear that happened in some field with horses, which I thought was on that island where the horse ranch was. So, how does Samara end up in a well under a cabin in the mountains??????

I await enlightenment.

Inspector Abber 11-27-2005 02:52 PM

The Ring was an inferior remake of Ring, a japanese film which, unfortunately, is in Japanese, so many western movie fans haven't seen it. It is well worth the time, but only if you haven't seen The Ring.

Anyway, in the Ring, the well isn't on the island. It's on the mainland. So I assume this is the case in The Ring as well.

Worst film? There are some bad ones but I'd nominate Dungeons and Dragons. Great game, shame about the movie! The acting was atrocious. I swear that Jeremy Irons was taking the p***

The_Return 11-27-2005 03:39 PM

Oh god...Jigsaw. So friggin awful

I thought Amityville 2 was pretty damn good, actually. Kinda' disturbed me.

Anyway, I really don't remember a possesed lamp in anything except Evil Dead 2.

I thought it was crap. Really boring most of the way through, ripped alot from Exorcist near the end, and the ending made no sence what-so-ever.

Well it didn't rip off the Exorcist at all, it just so happened to be another osession movie. The Exorcist wasn't the very first "definition" of what a possesed person acts/looks like. And this kid actually acted kinda different, and, unlike The Exorcist, he was stronger, and instead of eing tyed down, he murdered his entire family. So I dont think it's fair to say it ripped off The Exorcist.

NECRO666 11-27-2005 06:05 PM

TC2 was cool I seen it in the theaters when it came out the best part is the guy skull get chainsaw in half :D IND is not horror scifi instead. How can you say the 9th gate was good? We might has well do our version of the top 10 worst horror film ever? For me I have about 50 of them they are more shit movie than good ones.

I'll guess "Above the Law" - I seem to recall that Seagal's character was named "nico" something.

filmmaker2 11-28-2005 05:53 AM

Unfortunately not correct, but a good guess, to be sure!

Here's a couple of hints that will make the question worse:

It's not a line of dialogue--it's a bit of graffiti spraypainted on a wall in some "action movie" that features graffiti. And no, it's not "The Warriors."

PR3SSUR3 11-28-2005 08:12 AM

The Cable Guy is a dark, somewhat disturbing movie... and not just the usual vehicle for Carrey's rubberfaced mugging.

Because audiences expected another of the actor's lightweight fun routines, this came as a nice surprise from Ben Stiller.

After The Truman Show, Carrey's best film.

Zero 11-28-2005 08:22 AM

hmmm, i fail on the movie quiz (damnit) -

but, for me, i'd say the worst film ever made (and this will piss some people off) was:

From Dusk Til Dawn

I hated it so much my toes curled up.
