Blair Witch 3??
 

I saw on a site that Blair Witch 3 is in the making, a prequel. Anyone heard anything about it?

Yes, you two should stick with what you know.

Hopefully no more BWP after the revelation that was the original, although the sequel was slightly better than anyone dared hope (liked the backwards-walking things).

1 was good. If you didn't have the patience level just because there wasn't gore, at leats give it credit for being fucking original as hell.

I loved it, and think it's sad that because we didn't see the witch or anything it automatically "sucks".

No. There shouldn't ba anymore of these. The first sounds bad enough. I haven't even taken the time to watch them. I've seen bits and pieces. But I don't think there needs to be anymore. Two is enough for any series.

Of course, but we must put it down to a maturity thing - perhaps in years to come, cinematic enlightenment may be measured by understanding of The Blair Witch Project?

Desperate detractors love that Cannibal Holocaust comparison - as if insightful criticism is not possible, so frantic spouting of irrelevant negatives will do.

I didn't enjoy the first one either, it simply had nothing for me. There was no tension or climax... nothing scary at all. I think the whole buzz about it being "real" took a lot of the fun out of it for people as well. Let's hope the third is better, my favorite part in the first one is when that guy tells them what he did with the map. That part, I enjoyed.

The original Blair Witch is a classic. B;air Witch 2:Book of shodows was just a waste of time.

I dont know why any of you guys hate the Blair Witch so much. It's a unique movie that no one had every dared to try

The original Blair Witch was disappointing because I did not get to see Heather get killed and suffer, which I really really really wanted. The second one isn't worth mentioning, except one of the actors whose name I can't remember is very sexy.

I must say, the first BW was, and still is one of my all time favourite Horror movies.

I don't know what it is, but it just hit me when I watched it, it scared me, it entertained me, it made me want to watch it over and over and over.

Basically, it did exactly what I want horror movies to give me.

The first one sucked donkey dick. I didn't even bother with the second one. And I definately won't bother with the third one.

No tension? As the mood in the group becomes aprehensive, their tension is infectious - delivered to us as it is through Heather's increasingly nervy and desperate states.

No climax... must everything be tied up nicely at the end, and forgotten about? The ending of BWP is the most startling in living memory, and stays with you as you try to work out the horror of what may have happened next.

i agree completely - i thought jeepers creepers was pretty good until they showed the big stupid looking gargoyle dude (rip off of the made for TV movie - GARGOYLES) - then it was just silly. . . .

That is the same thing i thought! JC was a great, until they showed the creeper, he was kinda funny looking!!!;)

then the film suddenly became a combination of Aliens and Terminator with the big freaky wingy guy flying around killing cops and getting blown all to hell. . . i hate when films suddenly take a nosedive.

I think JC2 was even worse!!!

absoltuely silly - i only watched JC2 because i was bored and it was on cable - - - i think i drifted off while it was on . . .never a good sign!
