i no this is my second thread in the last 10 min. but i just buried my dad 2day so please over look my hurt! i love you guyz on H.D.C i just need a little love from my friends!:(

I can't truly say that I know what you mean because my dad isn't dead yet, but he's all the way at UCLA Medical Center right now, and he could die at any moment :( :( . All I can say is best wishes.

I don't want to bore you guys, but if you wanna hear.... My friends are trying to get me to see a counselor but I really don't want one. I deal with things on my own, and I don't need to add appointments and journal-writing and all that other shit they'd want from me toall that I'm already dealing with :mad: .

sometime the best to deal with thing is to do it yourself , not telling you not to listen to your friends but you no what is best for you not your friends!:)

Do what feels right for you man. But don't be affraid to ask for help if things get shitty.

I drove out to see my dad yesterday, and he looks awful:( . He's got IVs and monitors everywhere. It's like I drove 2 and 1/2 hours to see my dad miserable:( :( .

I really hope you're okay, but remember, you have to take time to grieve, otherwise, you bottle up all of those feelings until you explode :eek: (just thought I'd cheer you up a bit :) )

E2, I know what you're going through. My father passed away in 2000 from a rare blood disease when he was diagnosed in 1989. He fought it for 11 years before he went. But he always reminded us that it was eventually going to take him and that he could be killed in an accident long before the disease ever did, as he was always the optamist. He never complained about the disease, the care he was getting, or to the family. Ya just gotta take it a little bit at a time.

Ah, that's terrible... No matter what anyone says, this is a difficult time. There's no real way to make everything better. Just try to take things one day at a time, and don't suppress your emotions. You have my deepest sympathies.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father's passing, entity. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, or pretend that I know how it feels. You're in my thoughts, and if you ever need to talk we're all here for you.

My condolences to you and your family. I know how you feel - I lost my Dad almost 4 years ago and I still miss talking to him.

*smiles for you* I know you need it. I've never lost anyone extremely close to me, but I know I will soon...and hey, I think smiles help just about anything, if even just a little. Be sure you're there for your babies right now and that you keep telling them about him...any little thing that reminds you of him, and keep photos of him close. They'll keep his memory, and pass it on to their kids.

I'm sorry to hear about that. My dad died 3 years ago. It can be very hard to deal with.
