Anyone actually MET anyone famous in HORROR?
I know Killer Clown has met Stephen King...I would have loved that!...I also know that the Clown's pm box is full...:D
|
Bruce Campbell on 2 different occasions, he is sooo nice! At his book signing he signed my copy "give me some sugar baby" :D
Tim Thomerson on the other hand was kind of obnoxious and rude, but I think that he was doing it on purpose. Gregg Araki (though it's arguable if his stuff is 'horror' or not) was very polite. Bruce is the best though! |
That sucks about Tim Thomerson, I've always admired him as an actor. And Gregg Araki movies scare the hell out of me!!! You can call them horror.
I met Bruce Campbell too. He signed my book "Shop smart, shop S-Mart." I've also met Doug Bradley, Gunnar Hansen, Ken Foree, Tony Todd, Reggie Bannister, Bill Moseley, Michael Berryman, Tom Savini, and a few others. Check my member gallery out for photos. Also, on a non-horror related topic, I've met Sabu and Mean Gene. |
I live in the northwest i would love to go to a horror convention and met some of the actors, but i don't know how to find out when one is coming close to me! Dose anyone know where i could get that info?
|
20 blue I have met Stephen King he signed a book for me.

I haven't met any famous horror actors/actresses yet but can't wait till I do. Of course I want to meet Robert Englund but I'll be happy to meet any horror related famous person.
|
Hey guys, this is my first post on the boards. I met Kane Hodder a couple days before Halloween, he was pretty arogant and full of himself, which was pretty disapointing. Bruce Campell is coming to my school next semester and after reading what you've said about him, I'm really excited.
|
LOL, you guys are gonna hate me for this!! But a few years ago, Gunnar Henson came to Houston to meet fans at a haunted house around halloween, But guess who didnt go.....i had rented TCM that night since id never seen it and didnt know if id like it and he left town the next day when i went up there to get him to sign my rented copy (lol i was gonna keep it)
i did hear him interviewed by a radio station that night tho, really cool guy. |
must suck for you:D .

Nobody in Horror, but I met John Belushi when he was filming Continental Divide in Chicago, also met Chuck Norris while he was filiming in Chicago. Met Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath in SanDiego, met the guys from Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer in Long Beach Calif. Also saw Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) at a Blackhawks game. I had better seats than he did, he was behind me. People wouldnt leave him alone so he moved. Met the Undertaker at LAX. Would love to meet Bruce Cambell and Stephen King.
|
I have met some horror movie stars on movie conventions in Hamburg (Germany). For example, there were
I've also met two german independent movie directors, Andreas Bethmann (owner of the german horror movie label "X-Rated" and director of "Rossa Venezia" or "Dämonenbrut") and Timo Rose (director of "Mutation" and "Space Wolf"). But I'm not sure how many people outside germany know these two guys :-) |

At the time, I had a mohawk and each signed the side of my head. I've never met any horror people but a lot of metal guys. I've been very fortunate to meet , Kerry King from Slayer, I've never met Manson, but met Twiggy(he's cool as hell), And I met the band Drain S.T.H at Ozzfest '99. I was dying to meet Dave Mustaine and Megadeth(I've always wanted to meet him), but while the first band was on stage a fight broke out backstage and they kicked everyone out, that sucked. |
I plan to meet a bunch of people (like TCM cast and the clown from 1000 corpses, forgot his name :( ) at a horror movie expo in Ohio. I'm trying to get a road trip made for this and actually, if anyone else wants to go that would be cool we could meet up. We can represent horror.com forums. www.cinemawasteland.com

At one convention, I met him, the entire cast of the Evil Dead 1 (I got a photo of all of them signed...one of my prized possessions), Linda Blair, Savini, Michael Berryman (the Hills Have Eyes), and Doug Bradley. Unfortunately I've missed a couple of opportunities to meet Gunnar Hansen but I'm sure I will get to meet him eventually. |

Not well known but I met Jay Parsley once about 10-12 years ago. He was the producer of TCM (1974). He was friends of one my parents clients friends and I tagged along for dinner. It was great talking to him about the movie. None of them had any idea it would become so famous.
