What Movie is This? Sorry...
 

Ok, I gotta break down and make a Whats this Movie thread...sorry.


I remember that this movie used to be on CBC all the time about 8-10 years ago, so I think it must a be Canadian film. Im not even sure if it's horror, actually, but it always creeped me out.

I dont remember alot, but I know there was a teacher who always got completly ridiculed in class by his students. In one part he's at home, and hears the kids chanting in his head. They may have been chanting his name. For some reason I think it was on/around Halloween.


This may have been a different film, but I also remember one of the kids in his class cheating on a test and feeling giulty. He looked up and saw a dark ghost/witch thing at the classroom door.



I know it's really vague, but any ideas?

Was it "Sometimes They Come Back"?

oh my god, has anyone on this fucking site seen the gate. its like every time somebody asks about a movie that is nothing like the gate some dumbass stands up and says it sounds like the gate.

by the way i have no idea what the movie is but it sounds dumb.

Im pretty sure "the gate" is an inside joke.......why so harsh???

Yeah, it's just a joke (The Gate)....probably over-played, but always manages to get a good laugh...at least it does from me;)

First time I asked about a movie "The Gate" is the response I got and guess what... I thought it was funny so I copied it! Yeah! I'm not original! I liked The Gate (both the movie and the joke)! So what, wanna fight about it? Oh, and is the Substitute the movie where the ex-cop/sub teacher has his buddy use a laser sighted gun and bounce the laser off mirrors onto every gang members head?

I dont remember that scene but Tom Berenger was in it and he was an ex-mercenary who was trying to break a drugs ring in his friends school. i assume im talking about the same film as everybody else :confused:
