The guy responsible for the Basket Case movies and Frankenhooker. I just saw another flick of his, Brain Damage. It was so weird! A little blue monster attaches to a guys neck and injects him with hallucinagenic drugs in return for the guy getting him human brains.
He hasn't done any movies in a while though. I enjoyed his NYC scenes and black humor.

I started a thread about ole Frank when I first joined the board. NO ONE responded. Guess no one recognizes genius when they see it.

Brain Damage is my fav. film of his. I love Elmer, he cracks me up when he's singing in the bathroom. It's probably the best anti-drug horror film with a message. Or it could be the only one.

I heard a rumor that he may return to directing very soon. I'll keep you posted if I read anything else about it.

I think i liked Frankenhooker best by him, but Brain Damage is second. Definitely weird! I found it in my 'mom and pop' video shop but i haven't seen it anywhere else. It's shame when good movies are hard to find. I still need to see Basket Case 2.

Yeah, Basket Case 2 is pretty damn funny. I can't recommend the third one though. It's just a lame third installment...just my opinion though.

I like Frankenhooker a whole lot. I read somewhere that he was directing again, too. Doesn't he run Something Weird Video?

I really dig Frank Henenlotter's films Frankenhooker and Basket Case are my favorites. I didn't think Basket Case 3 was that bad it had some good moments. I hope he'll be making some new films soon its been awhile.

I think Aylmer looks like a blue mini brainstem with teeth. But those other descriptions are funny! His voice is the best part! It totally cracked me up too when he was singing in the sink!

Anyone know what Mr Henenlotter's up to these days. He'd have to be one of my favorite directors. Basket Case, Frankenhooker and Brain Damage are total fucking classics...... I wanna see more damn it :p

Wow...Frank Henelotter is great. I love. In Italyu is a possible see only Brain Demage( In italian: "La maledizione di Elmer") but i buy Basket case 1-2 3 and Franknooker in web..
