I feel like shaving my head.
Never did it....i have no idea how its going to look.

Have any of you (guys only) shaved your head for the first time in your 20's?

When you first did it..did u hate it?..did u regret it?

Don't do it........i use to get hot chicks ALL the time...then i had THE URGE. Your not as good looking as you think...and its true..HAIR does make a person.

Wait until you hit your late 30's,most men start balding then anyway (HAHAHAHAHAHA-we sag-you lose hair,I think that's fair)
Unless you have a very well proportioned head,and in that case-shave it all off at your pleasure.
A good hair stylist will know better though,so get an expert opinion.

The hairloss has begun.
Its not bad, but its not what it used to be :(

so i figured fuck it...might as well give it a try(even though its NOT THATTTT bad..but im noticing a lil thinning and that blows)

Oh yeah.....thats how it starts....you start to notice hair on your pillow....then in the shower...."whats a few hairs" you think"i gots tons of them".
Days go by....and you notice more...weeks later....more still....on the pillow...in the shower...on your shoulder...WTF IS GOING ON.....MY LONG FLOWING HAIR [ ok..i grew up in the 70s...everybody had the long flowing hair ].

Word to the wise......start buying baseball caps.

PS- i once cut my hair really short and i hated it....let me tell you...i never realized how big my ears were until then..this might also pose a problem..lol

still trying to decide..i want to do it like ASAP though.im very impuslive..if i dont do it 2day..i wont do it it at all..

Just make sure you don't have any dents in your head...it must be perfectly smooth...like a baby's behind.You don't want any weird birth marks either. Unless it was 666, that would be cool.

I shaved my head my freshman year in college. But I did it during the winter so I was cold a lot.

I've shaved my head about 3 times over the past 5-6 years.
I prefer my long hair, it just looks better, and it's in pretty good health, so I've no problems that would make me want to.
Personally, I thing EVERYONE looks shitty with a shaved head, but hey...there's also benefits.
You get rid of any split ends, and if you haven't been taking care of your hair, it's like a clean slate.
Also, it DOES grow back a little thicker, and generally stronger. I know this because I used to have hair falling out when it was long, and since it's grown back, this doesn't happen NEARLY as much.
If you can deal with the LOOK, do it. Also, do it to the skin, because the end result after regrowth will be better, and well, there's no point getting a numbered shave, because everyone can see your bald scalp under the stubble anyway, and it'd take less than a week to grow up to a numbered shave.
Oh yeah, and I guess if you live someplace hot, it's great to not have hair up top, but you gotta watch out for sunburn...'cos trust me on this, sunburn on a head unused to it REALLY fucking kills.
My advice - Get someone else to do it...otherwise you WILL fuck up. If it's not done at a barber, use scissors, then clippers going down settings as you go, then a facial, or cutthroat razor. As soon as you've done it, get in the shower.
I LOVE how this feels...your bald head (especially if you're used to having hair) is like ultra sensetive, and the shower falling upon it is really somethin' else. You will experience this coolness for about 2 weeks.
Also - exfoliate your scalp while in the shower - there's a LOT of dead skin happening, yep - exfoliate, then condition your head, then make the hot water VERY cold, so as to close up the pores a lil' bit. I'd reccomend a steamed towel straight after drying, but most people don't do this.
Right after, towel dry your head, and hit it with aftershave, lots of it. This will hurt. THEN when the aftershave dries out, baby powder.
Also, that night, you will more than likely be uncomfortable on your pillow. My suggestion is to wrap an ever so slightly damp (like...from the dryer, ALMOST done, but damp) towel around your pillow, this will ease this discomfort.

Ok, so that's all the advice you should need...in most cases when you shave your head you'll look like a bit of a dick, but if you can deal with the uncomplimentary "look", overall, it's good for the health of your hair.

I shave my head all the time, I started doing it about three years ago when I noticed some thinning, I've been clean shaven since.I figured if I couldn't have it all, I'd rather have none.It's just hair, if You shave it and don't like the way it looks, it'll grow back.:)

Go ahead do it, its only hair. If your heads all warped and shit wear a hat untill your hair grows back.

Take it from someone who's head is shaved. I love it. People might give you shit, but fuck them. If someone can't like you without hair, they never liked you. You can tell who is shallow, when your bald. If you care about what people think, don't do it.

Good Reasons:

1. Saves you money on hair cuts, and hair supplies like shampoo or gel.

2. Saves your time in the shower

3. During the summer, you'll be alot cooler (Winter time. You'll be fucked)

4. Some girls really dig shaved heads. Not shallow girls either..

I recommend testing it out. If you hate it, grow it back. But If you dig, you might love. But judging by your personally, you probably won't like it. Not meaning to be rude.

Just shave your whole body, so you look like Powder.

^ I wax my body. Im greek, so i tend to be hairy. But because of my tattoos..i like to keep it all clean.

Besides that, call me a fag, but girls groom themslves and we love it, so i do the same for my gf or whoever. Why would they want an austin powers chest?..or some hairy balls?....so its no biggie...shave and wax baby..nice and clean.

^ yes sir. lately i get lazy and i skip a week at a time. But usually..its an every other day type of thing (if u really gotta know).

Put it this way, as a guy, i love going down on baby smooth shaved girls. (a lil landimg strip or stubble is ok too)

they are the same way.
If a girl is going to put her mouth somewhere, im sure she would want it hair free..clean..smooth and good smelling.


Besides, i would not want a girl to suck on my balls if they are hairy. smooth feels better for everyone.
