Mind of Mencia
Any of u like it??
|
Good GOD no.

Carlos Mencia is not mexican. Carlos Mencia is actually half-Honduran and half-German. His real name is "Ned Holness".Comedy Store owner, decided Ned's name needed to "sound more Mexican". To draw in a bigger size crowds.
Ned "Carlos Mencia" Holness is a HORRIBLE comedian that bases ALL of his act on stereotypes and plain blatant racism . He is a fake, talent-less hack. He makes fun of ever other race and he isn't even a REAL MEXICAN ! DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW |

Carlos Mencia show is racist. There is a line between Racisim and "a joke". But when you base ALL of your comedy on stereotypes. That makes you untalented and ignorant. I gotta remember, you like GG Allin. If racisim is funny, He is the funniest comedian ever. For more information. Visit www.hopeinamerica.com And STOP BAD ENTERTAINMENT ! |

I saw a preview for Mind of Mencia where Carlos was talking to a midget in Renaissance garb and calling him "Little John".... then the midget did the Lil John "Okaaayyy" thing. That's just not funny. |
Chappelle has jokes more about how different each race is. The good & bad. He doesn't referr to arabs as"Achmed"...

*internet punch*
I admit the little john thing isnt funny..but he makes some good points. And i liked his standup way back when so i guess im prone to liking it but oh well im not here to change peoples minds or anything |
This just happen to me, a half an hour ago:
I emailed, Adam Carolla's new show "Too Late". Last night because I heard Carlos Menica was going to be on it, and I wanted to ask him a question. The producers called me this morning, asking me if I wanted to ask Carlos the question. I was like "Hell yeah". My question was "Could you be funny with out racist stereotypes". I couldn't believe they were going to let me ask him that. I waited for a fucking half an hour... listening to the whole show on the phone. Then the producer got on and said "Sorry we run out of time... we'll call you later" Now we'll never know if he could be funny with out racism... fuck.. |

Mencia and Chappelle consistently base their routines on stereotypes....It's okay to throw some of that out there from time to time, but when that's ALL you've got, it becomes redundant, monotonous, unoriginal and boring.... Mitch Hedberg was all over the place...That's one of the reasons that he was so good...And of course his delivery was awesome, too |

Mencia: His jokes ARE racial stereotypes. "Mexicans run across the border! Arabs say LALALALA a lot! Dee dee dee, BEANER!" *laughter* Repeat for 22 minutes, repeat 12-20 times per season. He was funny ONCE, in one of his half hour standup things Chappelle: Jokes ABOUT, and makes fun of stereotypes. And actually does a bunch of non-racial jokes (Sam Jackson beer, Making the Band, et cetera) The best example of the difference between the two, besides one is funny and one isn't, is a sketch Chappelle did in season two, entitled White People Dancing. The setup was that the "white people can't dance" stereotype is false, and that white people just like certain types of music and musical instruments. Then went around with John Mayer illustrating this point. This was funny. Had Mencia done the sketch, the whole thing would consist of white people dancing badly (some gangly white guy named Brad doing a cabbage patch or something) and that would be it. There's a big difference between making fun of stereotypes, and spouting off stereotypes and pretending it's funny. |
Great example STE
