Who would scare you the most?

Im curious, If you were to meet up with a character from any horror film ever made which one would scare you the most?

alkytrio666 08-28-2005 07:40 AM

Haha I actually kinda' like this thread.

I'd have to say probably Freddy Krueger, only because he'd be killing me while I was helpless...at least I could try to run from Jason, Michael, etc.

My second would be Leatherface. It'd just be a really disturbing death. Just knowing they were gonna kill you slow and then eat you...

ChEEbA 08-28-2005 07:40 AM

The killer condom

ItsAlive75 08-28-2005 07:45 AM

Mimic, I don't even like little cockroaches.

noctuary 08-28-2005 07:48 AM

ChEEbA 08-28-2005 07:53 AM

Did anyone see any of the mimic sequels?

Good flick, I never knew it was directed by Guillermo Del Toro until a couple months ago... that guy's awesome.

The_Return 08-28-2005 07:56 AM

Gotta be Dr. Freudstein. Yikes.

pinkfloyd45769 08-28-2005 07:58 AM

I didnt know it had any sequels, I just saw the first one and thought it was neat.

Saw Mimic Two: Hardshell on Showtime a while back, nothin' more than a haunted house movie with bugs... and its really short too, I don't even think its 90 minutes long.

pinkfloyd45769 08-28-2005 08:07 AM

I would be scared of Michael Myers just because hes my fave but if anyone remembers Cabin Fever(stupid movie I know) its not a character but it would be a shity way to go and the thought of that scares me more than a character that I could fight.

ItsAlive75 08-28-2005 08:09 AM

Next to being burned alive, death by disease is my second worst fear of dying.

pinkfloyd45769 08-28-2005 08:17 AM

I also am really scared of drowning, again not a character but a lot worse than a quick slice across the throat or something.

Haunted 08-28-2005 08:55 AM

Any zombie or a demon bent on possession

Marroe 08-28-2005 10:23 AM

Bubba Hotep

X¤MurderDoll¤X 08-28-2005 11:00 AM

I would be so happy to see a zombie or vampire. It might kill me, but atleast I'd know it existed. That kind of versus science and god would bring me a little peace.

Angelakillsluts 08-28-2005 11:20 AM

Knowing everything about him/her/it before hand? Definately Candyman.

Haunted 08-28-2005 02:01 PM

Murder Doll, I really like your av.

Vampires would be cool, if they're the attractive kind. Otherwise, they can bloody well bugger someone else.

The main character in the book I'm writing is a vampire, but that's only happenstance. There's more about her than just being a vampire...blah blah blah blah blah

Maybe I'll do a thread that's a character sketch and you guys can help me out with fine tuning. I swear to the Goddess that I am NOT a hack writer. I've been doing it since I was dextrous enough to hold a pencil.

Haven't see that movie yet. But I've seen the trailer. It looks great.

I would say "Castle Freak", if anyone seen the movie.

haunted: thanks, I like it too.

jenna26 08-28-2005 06:42 PM

The family from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yikes.

Yellow Jacket 08-28-2005 07:16 PM

Mine's would be Satan himself! That guy is ruthless. He was ruthless in The Exorcist when he possessed Linda Blair and scared the shit outta me! There is absolutly no way to kill him either. You can't kill his possessed victim because he/she is defenseless and isn't trying to do these things. So, you're defenseless against the guy. That's the scary thing.

The_Return 08-28-2005 07:26 PM

Cant imagine why anyone would be scared of meeting a vampire, personally, Id welcome it. That'd be so awesome if Vampires existed...

GeekLove 08-28-2005 07:50 PM

The chick from Audition-ooh, what a date from hell.

So maybe you forget to call her & the next thing you know-Off with yer foot!

Well, that would really depend on what "version" of vampire we are talking about here. Because some of them have been portrayed as scary as hell and not the kind of creature I would want to be up close and personal with. Others......I wouldn't mind so much.:D

oh man, yeah i have that movie...that creature is pretty ruthless with that prostitute that jeffery combs brings back...

i think i'd have to say that i would be really scared of either kane from "poltergeist II" because julian beck is the scariest human being i've ever seen in my life, or one of the cenobytes. those guys are ruthless too.

ThePhantom 08-28-2005 10:14 PM

Zombee 08-29-2005 05:05 AM

Pinhead..and any minion or demon from hell.

SKOOFx 08-29-2005 10:58 AM

The ORIGINAL pinhead from hellraiser 1 (after the first movie, he went down hill)Although im still a fan of ALL the sequels..no matter how bad thye are. But the original hellraiser was something that fraeked me out.

I can agree with you when you say that pinhead went downhill after the original Hellraiser. And yes, he would be creepy to meet in real life (imagine the pain and torture he'd put you through.) But, I think I'd actually be more afraid of the cenobites because (1. They're brutal! and (2. You know they'll actually appear if you solve the puzzle box (if you seen Inferno, you'll know what I mean.)

I agree, Pinhead is One dude I would not want to have to deal with.

Zero 08-30-2005 07:30 AM

Hannibal Lecter - all the supernatural things just seem like they'd be kind of silly in the real world (ok, maybe the demon from the Exorcist would be kind of freaky) - but when I think about the real possibilities - someone like Lecter would either have you for lunch or leave you a physical and emotional cripple. I'd also say, on that note, that Henry from Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer is exactly the kind of person who makes me triple lock my doors at night.

Haunted 08-30-2005 09:05 AM

Oh yes...Kane for Poltergiest II. That fucker is pretty creepy. It's easy for me to imagine that really scary Southern gothic minister. It's not Southern gothic, but it puts you in mind of something out of a Nathaniel Hawthorn story/novel.

Yeah, there is a huge gap between vampires like Varney and Nosferatu and vampires like Lord Ruthven and Lestat. However, what you're missing is this: When they see you, they have the same reaction as you do when looking a really good meal you know you're going to enjoy.

I just remembered something that happened in college with a professor. We got into it a little, when it came to vampires. If you want the story, I'll give it, but otherwise I'm not going to bore you with anymore of my ramblings.
