Halloween 9

i heard on some websites that halloween 9 will come out in 2006
Who wants to see halloween 9?

JokerMONEY3000 08-04-2005 04:57 PM

I'll see it the day it hits theaters; regardless. I'm a huge Halloween fan. I just hope its good. I hope they don't call it Halloween 9 tho. I don't think any of the movies from now on should get numbers because of the split in the series. As seen below, the series can be watched 2 ways.

Halloween
Halloween 2
Halloween 4
Halloween 5
Halloween 6
(The next installment can go here)

OR

Halloween
Halloween 2
Halloween H20
Halloween Resurrection
(Or the next installment can go here)

I'd personally like to see a "Part 7". Halloween Resurrection had no story line what-so-ever, and I don't like it should be continued. Even tho 6 really screwed with the series, I think it's revivable. I mean, H20 had no right to just cut out 4, 5, & 6. Fuck H20, it had way too many nitpicks anyways....the ever-changing mask, the music was taken from Scream. Even though I thought the storyline was great. H20 had a different vibe, and it wasn't scary. At least 4,5,6 had that dark feel. H20 turned Myers into a pussy. The story line is really messed up. I think that if someone were to sit down and watch every movie. It could all come together again. I dunno though. There'd have to be one good explanation to explain why H20 and Ressurection cut out 4, 5, & 6. I think its managable though.

Well, you have my opinions. :)

Fuck! Not another one! I'm a huge Halloween fan, and I have the guts (like so many others) to say that 1,2, and 4 are the only ones worth watching. And I have all three of them. I'm getting sick and tired of them making these putrid shit.

There's my opinion. Deal with it.

I say go for it. If it's good, yay! If it sucks, it wasn't my money wasted. (Except for the $7 for the ticket.)

MisterSadistro 08-04-2005 08:43 PM

They should've never made a part 2 in the first place. 'Halloween' had one of the best horror movie ends bar none. THe masked killer, suddenly gone, "where to ?" set up was perfect. Everything else to milk more money out of it since just cheapens it's legacy. Sad as usual.

I'll go see it for sure.

I enjoyed Halloween II. There definatley shouldn't have been anymore after that but I've enjoyed them all anyways. They were fun movies.

Zero 08-05-2005 08:28 AM

I'd go see it. I'm not a big fan of anything after Halloween 3 (and, yes, I actually like Halloween 3). But, I'll give the Halloween franchise credit for trying to expand their idea. I really like the F13th series, but all the sequels are just about finding more ridiculous ways (and then place, uggghh manhattan??) for Jason to kill. So, while I never really understood all the cult/family ties crap from Halloween 6, I'd go see it.

MoonLit Meadow 08-05-2005 09:09 AM

I'll definately go see it...can't be any worse than Freddy vs. Jason....(if you liked that movie...please don't yell at me...I'm fragile) ;)

Did you see halloween 6 the producers cut?I got it off ebay and it has 45 minutes of footage that was taken out of the movie,
it's alot easier to understand.I haven't watched it in awhile but I don't think Dr. Loomis dies at the end of this one.I prefer the producers cut over the regular studio version. If You haven't seen it You should check it out.:)

AUSTIN316426808 08-05-2005 10:06 AM

I'm going to go see it with my fingers crossed

No Face 08-05-2005 01:50 PM

I didn't like Freddy vs. Jason either. I remember the days when Freddy was actually scary. And I was never much of a Friday the 13th fan. So it didn't work for me.

Anyway, I am kind of neutral on another Halloween film. I will see it eventually, of course; I have seen them all so far. But the last one sucked and didn't even really make sense. I did enjoy them all through five (yes I like parts four and five) but didn't like how they messed with the continuity after those two.

But honestly, even though I did like several of them, the first really should have been left alone, it is the only one that is truly effective and works well.

Babygurl20 08-06-2005 12:26 AM

Nope, don't care to see it or rent it. Ole Mike just doesn't do anything for me. Any weirdo can dress up in a mechanics uniform and mask and stalk people.................whoop dee doo, go to California, much ore scarey people than Mike :) ;) :D

I watch sequals......yes,I do.

But,wouldn't it be AMAZING to have a world were orignality reigned and there would be no reason to have a sequal?

Hollywood underestimates what we would pay money for.

No. And don't post a question about Boogeyman in a Halloween 9 thread. You need to start a new thread for a question like that.

Boogeyman is just plain shitty God-awful.
