Do you remember the tone of your initial HDC post? Did you get a good or bad reception? Do you remember your topic, etc.?

Just curious after seeing the entrance of one of our newest members.

i never got flamed and i did do a noob introduction ..

chatted with some guy who's gone since - and Newb mostly - maybe Shanks and Hap too..

Yeah, I pretty much went into the newb lounge and literally asked to get flamed. Trust me...you guys didn't disappoint.

The whole reason I had registered though was to vent about how stupid I thought Rosemary's Baby was. I kept hearing about how good/scary it was...and I was pissed enough to want to sign up on a horror site to bitch about it. lol.

Too long ago for me to remember really. I never really bothered posting much in the general forum and would pretty much just post in the Modern Horror section with avenger00soul and drkelvinstein about films. I haven't really posted a hell of a lot until recently.

BudMan started around the same time as Step Father Fan. My metamorphous into newb came about just to fuck with some of the regulars. It seemed like people liked newb better.....so he stuck.

When I first came here, I was reading a thread by one of the guys about how they were surprised that so many girls were into horror, AND that they actually knew their stuff (believe it or not, it USED to be about HORROR here)...Anyway...

I never had a new member thread...Instead, my very first post was a challenge to the guys, that I could take any of them in a horror trivia battle...Well, Arioch backed out, Moonsorrow stepped up...When Moonsorrow saw that I was serious, and that he couldn't compete, he chose Avenger to take his place...He kicked my ass SO fucking hard...I had been righteously humbled...If I had known anything about Avenger beforehand, there would have been no way in HELL that I would have taken him on...ESPECIALLY not in movies...I would have had a much better chance in books...As long as I stayed away from McCammon...I KNOW I could have taken him on King...

I think mine was a response to Freddy C. Kruegers thread, which vampire style do you prefer....had a nice back and forth with Fluff Ho and Monster Dad ( before the imfamous getting drunk and posting his cock all night long episode). Fluff mentioned she chipped her tooth and I couldn't resist asking her what she had in her mouth to cause that much damage :D I was off to a good start!!!! :p
