What is this? Not Horror...
Alright ya'all, put your brain in drive and give me the name of this movie. A friend of mine only remembers a tiny part of it, I remember that part as well, but can't come up with it. I wondered if it could be a "World according to Garp"
...a guy (he said maybe Robin Williams or Michael Keaton, but i'm thinking more like Billy Crystal ) having trouble concieving a kid so he has to jack in a tube and rush it to the Hospital. He gets pulled over by a Cop and the Cop ends up giving him an escort to the Hospital. Anything??????????? |
"jack in a tube"
what does that mean |

one exception to that rule (i hate robin williams) is the Popeye movie - weird as hell film - he's unrecognizable ... i thought it was cool and just scored a copy on laserdisc |

"Jack in the Tube"
Hmmmm.....Sounds like a good movie.....has potential. |
I could've sworn it was Billy Crystal, but I can't think of the movie. I'm thinking it was Forget Paris, though.
|
Robin Williams was also decent in 1 hour photo

i still wasnt crazy about it - as a 'war drama' but the centrepiece was williams and his 'wacky stream of conciousness' humor... that was definately what was talked about when it came out .. i've seen a lot of films - similarily themed - from that time period and there isnt one thing in that movie that sticks out .. for me .. (i'm not saying other people shouldnt like it) |
STE had it.
It IS "Forget Paris", I remember it well...Billy Crystal played a basketball ref, and Debra Winger playes an airline hostess, and they hook up, and have this on again off again relationship before finally getting it together, breaking up, and getting together again. The majority of the film is narrated through a couples various friends perspectives, as they are waiting to meet them for dinner. It was actually really funny. I remember one scene where Debra Winger got a bird stuck to her head with flypaper...funny shit. I also remember the scene you're referring to, Billy Crystal gets pulled over for speeding, on his way to deliver his "package"...and says to the cop "Do you know what's in here? a cup of sperm!", and gets a gun drawn on him...haha... Great movie, thankyou for the reminder. |
