depends on which version

The STE 05-31-2005 10:32 AM

Netflix lists the runtime at 95 minutes. IMDB lists several different runtimes, one is 98 minutes, but the italian runtime is 95

The_Return 05-31-2005 04:20 PM

Eraserhead! Eraserhead!

I have been hearing incredible stuff about this, really want to see it. Cant wait!

urgeok 05-31-2005 04:43 PM

i have cannibal holocaust on laser - i've seen the dvd around
and i have eraserhead on dvd from a laserdisc burn.

if someone picks up the eraserhead dvd please let me know if there are any special features - to see if it's worth upgrading my copy

surfnazi 05-31-2005 04:56 PM

Nice I've been badly wanting to see Eraserhead for awhile, but couldn't find it anywhere in the whole state no wonder, gonna blind buy that one.

Also is Cannibal Holocaust any good? I've read a bit about it and am not sure whether or not I really want to see that kind of sick ass shit. I mean cmon they really killed that damn turtle! lol, is it creepy or any good at all? I'll try to remember not to be eating while watching it...

IDrinkYourBlood 05-31-2005 05:48 PM

I "Blind Buy" alot of DVD's that turn out to be really good. except for sleep away camp 2. Terrible, Terrible movie.

the movies listed in this thread are all available on Netflix. If you don't have Netflix then I gradually invite you to go fuck yourself with a Bob Newhart piņata

urgeok 05-31-2005 07:16 PM

how do you 'gradually' invite someone to do anything ?

i buy my movies ... i havent rented a movie for about 5 years now.
(to the chagrin of the movie place i went to because i was their best customer - they even sent me a xmas card !)

but now the guys at the used DVD place say i'm their best customer ...

The STE 06-01-2005 12:03 PM

Step 1) Buy blank DVDs
Step 2) Rent DVDs off Netflix
Step 3) Copy the DVD

All the DVDs you can get for $20ish a month. I fail to see a flaw in this plan

Cannibal Holocaust Has a completly uncut 2 disc Ultra bit version, p ut out by EC Entertainment in the Netherlands.

And eraserhead has a great restored version available off of David lynch's website... http://ecomm.davidlynch.com/catalog/dvd_ehead.php

its a bit pricey but well worth it

....Maybe you missed the title of the thread but theres no longer any need to go through all that trouble since they're going to be getting released on DVD in the US soon. Who knows though maybe the versions you cited are better?
