the person who is remaking "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" is...

Adam Sandler he said it in an interview with him and Burt Reynolds promoting the remake of "The Longest Yard"

MichaelMyers 05-28-2005 04:11 PM

I was hoping it'd be George Lucas, except instead of tomatoes, gay androids.

The_Return 05-28-2005 04:35 PM

Haha, I was never to fond of him either...just seemed like a regular guy given funny scripts...maybe that's just me?

The Mothman 05-29-2005 01:33 PM

But my point is Billy Madison was a hilarious movie, but Adam Sandler didn't make it funny...he just got some funny lines. Anyone could have played the part. Not to mention Chris Farley made that movie 10 times better...

I'm just befuddled. Quentin tarantino is directing a war movie with Adam Sandler, that's a remake of an Italian 70's film?

This is like an acid-induced nightmare.

Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Adam Sandler, and Eddie Murphy are supposed to be the cast along with Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis

i think sandler is ok .. and he'll be around for a long time.
all of these 'wonkey comedian' types start with attention grabbing childish films but eventually they start to do the more serious roles and show that they can actually act.

Sandler has shown he isnt at all a bad actor ...

Look at Steve MArtin ..

he was the 80's sandler/carrey.
parents couldnt get him at all - he was too childish ..

alkytrio666 05-30-2005 06:57 AM

I fucking hate Steve Martin. That bastard thinks he can remake The Pink Panther...the greatest movie of all time. No one can be Sellers, Steve Martin can choke and die for all I care.

Alan Arkin played Clouseau and did a good job ..

(and Roberto Benigni played his son rather well)

i can steve martin being pretty good ...
It'll depend on the direction ...

ItsAlive75 05-30-2005 10:29 AM

Yeah, but Beyonce Knowles is gonna be in that flick too.

I remember how "funny" she was in Goldmember.

alkytrio666 05-30-2005 10:40 AM

Yah. There's some things that you just don't touch. The Pink Panther is one of them. Peter Sellers is gonna be turning over in his grave quite a few times this summer...
