Curious about something ..

do they play a TV commercial in the USA where a white girl and a black guy are sitting on some steps, and about to eat McDonalds .. when the guy complains about not getting a toy with his meal...


does that ring any bells or did this just play in Canada ?

My #1 complaint about Mcdonalds these days is the shitty english they use in their advertising... We have enough dumb people in the world without major chains catering to them:

"I'm lovin' it."

Or the signs for taking credit cards:
"Yeah. We take 'em"



Jesus.... the advertising campaign sounds olike stupid nihilistic kids....


"Now hirin' pt and ft. Get a job at the arches, yo."

well, the reason i asked is that i was in montreal last summer and saw it being made ... i had taken some behind the scenes pictures that might be interesting if you'd seen the commercial..but if not ..you aint gonna give a puck.

at least you don't get this shithead running around in the adverts... may be the McD board of directors need arresting aswell.

No true. Although it was informative, i highly doubt the objectivity of a guy with a vegan chef as a girlfriend....

i was told the same thing - but didnt need to see it - like i said in another thread .. every time i eat fast food crap i feel like i've been poisoned, cheated, and robbed.

subs are a safe bet (depending on your choice of the meats - a lot of cold cuts are pretty bad)

i prefer authentic asian food to anything - its very healthy and tastes great - but depending on where you live - finding the authentic places might be a challenge

Ok I agree the guy may be a little bias, but anyone who thinks that eating that food day in and day out is healthy has got rocks in their heads.

THere was a the guy, his name escapes me, that ate 2 Big Macs everday for years and according to his health records he is healthy.

I think it maybe a combonation of the foods that you eat there.

Many years ago I ate a quarter pounder w/cheese value meal there, woke up in the middle of the night VIOLENTLY ill, I mean doubled over in the fetal position on the floor in between the bathroom and the bedroom.

Maybe it was just a freak incident, but given that I have a ridiculously high tolerance for pain, it felt bad enough for me to never ever eat there again.

the last time i threw up anywhere other than my own bathroom at home was at highschool one day when i had food poisoning.

i couldnt stop throwing up long enough to go home .. i stayed in the washroom all day.

at one point i was in the bathroom in the nurses room when i hurled. i had to blow my nose after (like most people do) and i had to blow hard as hell because i was getting some good blockage.

so i gave it everything and WHAP !!! into the kleenex flew an entire pickle slice from a mcdonalds hamburger.

i took one look at that and puked again.


i told a guy at work that years ago and to this day he still calls me 'Pickles'

Sounds like food poisoning to me.


The thing that gets me is that even in the movie, he said the fast food companies specifically state that you should not be eating it often.....


people who say they think it is healthy are full of shit. i dont buy it. if they are that stupid, fine.. Fatten them up, grind them up, and feed them to the rest of us, because they are basically cattle at that point.

The girls they mentioned in the movie and that dumb fuck that tried suing the 4 topp chains a year or two ago were just trying to profit from being fat and lazy, plain and simple. if they werent fucking lazy and opportunistic, they would not have been so fucking unhealthy to begin with.


I still say that their lawyers should be disbarred. Anyone who accepts a case that is obviously that frivilous doesnt deserve to make their living as a lawyer. Lawyers like that always defend their position for years afterwards, they somehow convince themselvs that it is the truth.
