Tell me that controller doesn't look uncomfortable and stupid...

This is nintendo's new console

I've heard some good things about the new nintendo.Yes the new controller does look uncomfortable and stupid.I have heard about the new XBOX 360 but I haven't seen any pictures of it.Do you happen to have any?

The controller looks ok to me...seems to have kept the same layout from it's former incarnations. Sure, I don't think that they needed to make this one quite so LONG, but it looks confortable enough to me - I prefer the streamlined look than the x-box chunk.
I saw some footage on the news, some FPS game demo on ps3, I have to say, it looks fucking awesome, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that thus far, the ps3 has better processing power and graphical capabilities than the XB360.
I'm sure ANY console coming out will be equally impressive though...it's just about the games...I get most of my new stuff on pc, so I'm always happy to wait 'til console prices drop.

That controller looks like one of the worst of all time. (PS3) It looks like a silver boomerang, which probably explains why Cheeba likes it. Looks almost as bad as the N64 controller.

I can't wait for the Revolution, Wi-fi online, you can download every Nintendo game ever made. New smash bro's and Mario game. Some people think there will be a Wi-fi light gun games.

Personally, I don't think the PS3 is as powerful as they say. No one can prove those clips are gameplay. If they are real, it will cost $400 - 500 dollars easily, I promise.

The 360 looks horrible, nothing much has been improved from the X-box. maybe alittle better chip set. WOW! It could be released in November? I doubt it

PS3 is impressive but the 360 seems awful. Can't wait until next year.

PS3 is gonna be awsome. Allready has a great line up. Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4 and Tekken 6!!! Im gonna save up 1000 buxx for the day it comes out.

it really doesnt matter what the controller looks like cause we all know that sooner or later they are going to come out with different styles like they always do. and ive been reading about the ps3, so far it is the strongest console, has a cell processor, 2 GeForce graphics cards(needless to say the same card that is in the alienware aurora hard drive) and im still not sure about this but i seen earlier news that they were thinking about putting liquid cooling in it also, the reasoning behind that is because the prototype model that they made ran to hot and they put the damn thing in a freezer box so it wouldnt over heat while they ran it. from the pics ive seen, the visual that i saw was remarkable. but to sum it all, all the consoles that are coming out are going to be amazing.

So you wouldn't mind paying 500 dollars or over for the PS3?

I'm pretty sure any power/speed comparisons will only be pretty small. At this stage of advancement, the differences between any next gen consoles coming out will be relatively minimal, all of these systems are going to be fucking amazing...I still think ps2 and xbox are great...
People are really gonna have to look pretty hard to find "flaws" with ANY of the upcoming comsoles, it'll just come down to people bitching at the designs of the control pads..etc.

The only one I haven't heard much about is nintendos latest...

and it all depends on what kind of games you like cause if you think about each console made has a main sponser (bungie, square-enix, capcom, etc) mostly playstation is popular for RPG's, xbox is popular for first person shooter, and nintendo is popular for multi-player. so depending on what games you prefere to play is the console that you will buy.

Sony is reporting that the PS3 will be 30 times more powerful than the PS2 :rolleyes:

I'm sorry but 450 dollars and 60 bucks per game is way to much money for video games. The Next-Gen games have gone up 10 dollars.

I know Cheeba that you like playing classic games. The Nintendo Revolution will be a lot cheaper and you'll be able to play all the old school games . I can't wait to play EarthBound and Mario RPG

seems like the game cube JUST came out. Is a new final fantasy being made for this ps3?

I never liked x box. I don't like the controlers or the size of the system. Originally wasn't xbox suppose to release components to add to the consoule?

idk if the new FFXII is going to be coming out for the ps3 but my guess is that the game is going to be made for it, cause they have put off the release date for it so many times i just think that theyre going to wait for the console to come out then theyre going to release FFXII.

i'll wind up getting all three, but just to pick a side, i'll go with the x-box 360, it's said to replace computers (the stuff it can do, i.e. web surfing, instant messaging, streaming video... ect.) but then again, it just cant beat the old fashioned alienware :D

Only Microsoft are saying that, EA and most of the other developers reckon the PS3 is alot more powerful and faster up to 2x as powerful

Any part that Microsoft don't understand (such as 256mb of memory running at 3.2ghz is "nothing useful" and the 7xSPE that uses the memory is "nothing that can be used", but the reason the Xbox 360 games looked slow and jerky is "the software was not the right version that was at the show

Sounds like a lot of excuses especially as now they say it might be delayed until after the PS3 and they never set a date for release

- If what they're saying about that is true, then there's no denying that is fucking awesome. I have all those games emulated, but to be able to play them, as they were MEANT to be played...hell yeah.
I'll be watching that one with great interest...However, this all depends on how the service works, and the pricing scheme.
I wonder if they'll get the licence for old sega games as well, since sega is writing a lot of games for them now....that there WOULD make it SO worth having. Flashback, 2 player streets of rage, zombies ate my neighbours, wonderboy 2, all the REAL sonic games...probably won't happen, but it'd be the shit.
