Horror.com's Horror Movie Poll

Hey guys. The board as of right now is really boring, and nothing different is going on, so I figured I'd spice things up a bit...

...every week, I will be posting a new thread, each asking a different type of question concerning horror movies. Then, after a week on each thread, I'll post the winner of each poll. Once all threads have been completed, I'll post yet another one showing each and every poll question, along with the winner of that particular poll.

You only have a week to answer each poll. So a week from the time you're reading this, you won't be able to vote in THIS thread.

So the first question to start all of this is...

Who is the best horror filmmaker?

You can choose other, as long as you specify who you are voting for.

John Carpenter is the best. By the way, this is a great idea shamsham. Great job!:)

ShamSham04 11-24-2003 02:13 PM

Oh yeah.

I'll tell you which question will be next in the thread containing the winner of this poll. Hope this doesn't confuse everyone...eh heh.

I'll say John Carpenter, but Cronenberg is a damn close second and I'm sorry to see he's not on the list.

I understand that, but Hitch only made two horror films. Cronenberg made dozens. What's up with that?

Looks like good ole John Carpenter is going to win this one.

But hey, we still have five days, anything could happen... :)

i like tim burten mainly because he directed/created A Nightmare Before Christmas which came out when i was about ummm 6 or 7 maybe 8 i dunno but thats been my favorite movie for a long time i dont think it falls into the horror catagory but still hes kool. sally the girl created by dr. vickelstien (bad spelling) was the first character from a movie i ever wanted to be (the whole removable limb thing was really kool when i was like 8) so ya tim burten gets my vote

graveambitions 11-25-2003 06:48 PM

Hey all. Just wanted to say I voted other. F.W. Murnau will always slay everyone, Faust was just so goddamn good. 2nd I'd say is Dario Argento.
