the scene in The Sound of Music where Maria Von Trapp took the chainsaw to that one german soldier .. started at his crotch and ripped upward, completely tearing him into 2 ragged gore splattered pieces lenghtwise. Intestines everywhere. Shit, blood and unidentifiable fluids mixing with the rain as she started to scream and laugh uncontrollably, spinning the bloody chainsaw in wild arcs above her head...

hm......i have alot of favorite deaths but if had to narrow it down to 1 it would be....Freddy vs jason when that stoner gets cutt in half by jason

when the zombie in dawn gets his head chopped off the the helicopter

in se7en when the prostitute gets fucked to death by the bladed strap-on( sadly you dont get to see it).

When that one guy kills that one girl in that one movie about the teens having sex and then getting killed.

The scene in the remake of Thirteen Ghosts where the guy gets cut down the middle head to toe by the falling glass partition, and his front half slowly slurps down the glass revealing his back half.

Rubbish film but good kill.

I agree. Another one in Final Destination one was when the girl gets hit by the bus and in Final Destination 2 at the end in the hospital with the fire.

I cant believe no on ehas mentioned the Omen yet.... Every kill in that one was a winner.

I agree with two previous posts:

For sheer shock and horror, the first kill in Tx Chainsaw is awesome - totally unexpected and so sudden.

For overall mood - Ben's death at the end of NOLD is the champion - rips your head right off and leaves your neck blinking in disbelief. Still gets me to this day - especially with the photo montage that follows.

I also would recommend the death of John Doe in Se7en - while i generally hate Brad Pitt I did quite like that final sequence.

The part in NOTLD when the jeep blows up killing those two teens (got have teens dying or else it's just crap), and THEN the zombies start eating them...tearing meat off the bone eating them.

Any gunshot exploding head is good for me (there is no sexual inuendo in that comment).
