Ugh, come on. Its one of the most infamous indie flicks. Someone should have seen or at least heard of it.

Actually looks quite good mate. Got a lot of good reviews. Gonna hafta see if I can get it somewhere.

It's pretty porr quality, mostly just an exploitation flick, but one o fthose creative retrebution movies that makes it tolerable that the plot and acting are bad.


the "simple" fellow was a source of unending belly laughs for me.....

I suggest you do check it out, mate. You might not appreciate it on the first viewing but subsequent viewings will accomplish this.

Also, if you like I Spit On Your Grave, than i suggest you also check out an indie horror flick called NutBag: The story of the Vegas Ripper. Pretty enjoyable.

This is my all time favorite exploitation horror. In a close secound is night train murders.

Love this movie especially the rape scene in the woods ahainst the rock. So realistic

why the fuck would anyone love this scene ?
even the filmmakers werent exploitive enough to make you want to like it.

Yeah that is a pretty sick thing to say that you enjoyed watching someone get raped so brutally. I for one haven't yet to see the film because its very hard to find around here and I don't normally order off the internet. It looks to be pretty poor quality but I've heard some great reviews about it that liken it to other gritty realistic films like Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes.

So anyone who's seen it, is it any good, worth a rent or even a blind buy?

i watched it to see if the hype was justified and was suprised to see that it wasnt as exploitive as i thought.

none of the rape scenes were exploitive ..they were filmed to be disturbing - not titillating ..

the movie garnered more bad press from the audience acting like assholes - yelling out shit at the screen - ecouraging the rapists.

i view that with the same disgust and amazement that some twisted fucker could enjoy any rape scene ... and then admit it..

SOunds like a billy badass to me.

Yeah thats a bit fuckin wierd.

Makes me think of one of the most overrated films I have ever seen: Strawdogs.

Its bollox and the only reason that was famous was because of the one scene that got it banned. In the scene this bird gets raped and is meant to look like she's enjoyin herself.

But when they strarted sellin it again loads of people were just buyin it to see that one scene.

The film itself was poo.

That's not true at all, Sam Peckinpah(sp?) was one of the best filmmakers of the 70's new generation. Straw Dogs is a very good film I believe and it's also been released on the Criterion Collection, which usually means its a good film considering Criterion doesn't usually come out with crap.

Errrr......well in my opinion it was poo.

And thats all that matters to me. Even my mate whos a big film buff thinks its poo.

i saw it years ago - liked it then.
recently aquirred it on laserdisc - have to give it another look.

I always found suzanne george sexy even though she does have a goofy face..

Robocop has a criterion dvd. Now, i dont think it's a bad movie , personally i love robocop, but then again, its not really a great film...

I have always loved robocop, and the criterion version has some added scenes. Ok, well, only two, but they were enough that it skidded by with "only" an R rating.


When Kinney (i think) gets shot up by ed 209, there is a shitload more blood, completely gratuitous. And Murphy's death is quite drawn out. you get to see him stimble around with a missing hand and blood squirting out, and quite a bit more when they are gunninfg him down. the first shotgun blast sends whats left of his arm flying off like bat after a home run, and he has this god-awful look of horror and shock on his face.


definately the best acting peter weller ever did.

Note to self: Never, ever date guys who say they "loved the rape scene" in any movie. Because - ew. Ew, ew, ew.

Seriously. That's disgusting. I love how he acts as though he speaks from experience too. Like he knows what it looks like to watch a girl raped. Sick.
