haven't been here much but i see that some assholes like bane r back. well any way as i as saying i have good news

for those that know that i was expecting .... she arrived on fri. her names willow

i would like to post a picof here but if the asshole darth bane and them r around thn i won't .


my water broke thursday nite at 10 i just didn't realize it was my water that broke just thought it was an accident. woke up at 6 am w/ middle cramps and went back to bed and at 7am they got worse went in the hospital at 7 30 amand she arrived at 9 21 am. only 2 and a half hours of labor [ i know hard to believe huh] when i arrived at the hopital i was already 6 cm dilated. she weighs 6 lbs and 7 ozs and is 19 1/2 in. long and really cute and just in time for mommys day
to bad grandma missed it. his mom is on a cruise till thursday and shes to far out to get in contact with so she will have a nice suprise when she gets home

thanx guys u have no idea how happy i am minus what bane said but no one really listens to him any way or cares what he has to say any more .

no one understands it ... not that its so deep and complex ..
its that he doesnt know what he's saying himself - in his desperation to make his posts sound interesting, he often forgets to string his words together in a coherent manner.

i mean i have heard worse . my bf has a cousin named zena after xena the warrior princess now how many ppl names there kid zena:rolleyes:

and btw i'm actually doing well at this whole mommy thing so far when she sleeps i sleep when shes awake i'm w/ her every minute changing and feeding her and giving her baths.

Willow is a beautiful name and it sounds like you're off to a good start as a Mom......don't worry about wufong.....what the fuck does a guy named wufong know anyway!!!!! ;) :D

I think Willow is a nice name. I know a brother and sister named Buffy and Willow. Buffy is a weird name...

A guy I know wants to name his kid Axl, after Axl Rose. He's like 27 so I think he's thought it out. Axl Braichley.. guaranteed problem child. :p

well it did partly come from buffy but i remember calling a girl i played w/ at the park when i was little willow and i insisted her name was willow even though it was olivia .

i liked the name b4 buffy ever came along but her middle name did come from alyson hannigan and plus the only name i liked and sounded well as a middle name for willow. so her first name is partly cuz willow is my fav buffy character and partly cuz its a name i liked since i was lil and also i wanted my kid to have a name u don't here to often i didn't want a name like jessica or heather etc....... there to common

i have to say that i'm not a big fan of odd names.
It seems (to me) to be a contrived way to lay some character on your kid before they develop any of their own ..

sort of like how people often name their pets to reflect their own interests.

My kid has a very average name - I'm hoping - assuming - that his personality will be strong enough on it's own.

Kids live with their names untill they are old enough to change it if need be.

unless they are rich hollywood brats all sharing the same fate, they are going to have a rough ride with their peers who by instinct seek out anything different about a kid and exploit it for their amusement.

I'd rather give my kid a fighting chance .. and if he wants to change it legally to 'moonglow' or 'wolfbane' when he's legally able - then hey - go for it..

Well...My daughter's name is Sericea Lespedeza...It's latin, a rare type of clover...

My son's name is Alejandro Miguel...His abuelita named him after her father and brother...


The new baby:

If it's a girl...It will be named Shay Laray...It will have Seri's initials

If it's a boy...The boys (my son and Dustin's son) get to name it...So far they have decided on 'Ash' for a first name (as they are both HUGE Evil Dead fans)...They are still deciding on a middle name....They have thrown out 'Vash' and 'Dagger'...Not sure we're gonna go with those...lol...But, then again, they made a very valid point, we DID tell them that they get to choose...

Anyway...We are ALL seriously hoping for a girl...Even Dustin's mother and grandmother want a girl :)

I have an odd name. I didn't used to like it in grade school. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. Caprice. It's Italian for fun loving and spontaneous. It's also a car. I have never met anyone with my name. I'm glad. It seems weird when more than one person has the same name now. I work with two Vickies and two Zacks. I think it gave me a chance to be more of an individual. Could you imagine what I would have been like as a Brittany?? Pass the pompoms~:p

By the way BR, Sericea Lespedeza is a really pretty name. I wish people were more creative like that.

Thank you, That's very sweet...I actually got it from a horticulture class my senior year..I told my teacher that if I ever had a baby girl, that was what I was gonna name her...He probably didn't believe me, but 4 years later, I had her, and took her to see him...He told the class about it...They didn't believe HIM either...lol

I don't see 'different' names as 'odd'...I see them as 'unique'...My daughter turned out to be a very unique individual...

As for my son...Everyone calls him Alex...When you say his name in public, 10 kids turn their heads.......Oh well...

HaHa...That's a good one.....Some people might think that maybe the conception occured in a car ;).....Hmm...That made me think.....ALL of my kids would be named 'Serta'...BOOOORING.....lol

For the boys names, I like Ashley actually. Not a big fan of Vash or Dagger though.

well i like sericeas name i think its pretty kool. sorry i haven't gotten to talk to u or her in a while just very hectic w/ moving and getting the babys room ready and now its even more hectic since she arrived, i try to do things i want while shes asleep . thats another reason i wasn't on any of the forums or online much cuz ofhow busy i had been and still will b . plus been having trouble emailing ppl cuz the key boads shift key don't work at all so i can't type the at symbol but will b fixed soon gettig a new key board . tell her i said hello and i miss talking to her

my brothers named after race car driver aj foyt except dad got the first name wrong it should b anthony joseph not andrew joseph
my sis was named after a neighbor girl my mom liked her name so she was named hether and her middle name came from grandmas name which is elizabeth

my name was picked out by my brother. he had agirl in his class namd april and he liked and came home and told my mom he thought it was a pretty name for a girl so they gaveme that name:D

plus there r some names on my bfs side that came from tv and movies like his cousin zena and cousin trinity.

plus my bfs brothers gf is so jealous of me right now cuz i was in labor less time then she was and i did it w/ out an epidural

according to what his mom told us when she had her baby she was acting all tough that she wouldn't have an epidural and did any way

i wasn't sure if i would want one but i prob wouldn't have taken it even if i was able. i didn't ask for one and if i would they would have sid no cuz i was 6cm dilated when i arrived and i was fine w/ out it, it was the cntractions that were most painful for me so they gave me patosim for it to lessen the pain cuz they were one right after the other and hurt alot

and ppl w/ me in the room got their share of being yelled and cursed at. gve my mom the finger several times and cracked hi figercuz i squeezed his hand to tight during a contraction and the dr told me to push i yelled at him and said i am fucking pushing
after all the pain and months of waiting i have to say she was definitly worth it all
